Used to be okay when you could park all day. Now it only pick up/drop off. A much needed facility ruined by development. When are councils like Bath going to realise that they rely on tourist trade, most of which come on coaches. They need to park!!!
It's excellent for dropping off students , just wish the foreign coach drivers could use the coach park at the top of the hill like I use & not block the park up , the council should practice what you preach ........
Bath Council is determined to abolish coaches from the city. Part of the strategy is to abolish coach parking, by banning coaches from stopping on some roads and by closing the only coach park within walking distance of the city centre. What was once a thriving, busy coach park is now a drop-off zone with a 30-minute waiting limit, with toilets and a small café that cooks nice food to order, but as this takes time, meals there are rushed.
Meant as a drop off but we parked in here for 2 hours while our group had lunch and we didn't get hassled. Refreshments available from a small cafe and onsite public toilets. A short Stroll to the town.
Plenty of spaces for the coaches to manuveur and an electronic waiting sign, but the bench had no panels to sit on, so I had to stand as I waited. There didn't seem to be any cover in case of rain.
Limited facilities - drop off/pick up . TOILETS. Now reopened May 2019
Coaches allowed a 30 minute stop here to give passengers plenty of time to use toilet facilities before or after alighting the Coach. Also cafe for refreshment.
Only half the size it was last year and now drop off and pick up only. Good little cafe in the corner public toilets. Can be difficult to park during popular pick up times
It's a drop off point for the centre of bath
Grim, chilly and vaguely unsettling - not a welcoming place at all. Even the few benches were cracked and broken. A relative lack of litter is all that saves it from one star!
