Parked my motorbike and bought a ticket. When I got back had been given a pcn for parking in the wrong place. There are no signs anywhere but apparently there is a motorcycle parking area to the right as you go in in the far left corner. I had no idea it was there. Motorcycles are free too. Bad day. Have appealed the pcn. Update: the PCN was cancelled so all good. Still need better signs though!
I always use this carpark which is in a great central location,which is opposite the Railway Station & Newark Castle and only 5mins walk away from the shops.Theres plenty of parking spaces available which are in 2 different areas,split up by having a little kiddies playground area ,cafe/ice cream parlour building which also incorporates public toilets on the other side 20p charge in the middle of the site. New parking payment machines have recently been installed, where you need to input your car reg before paying .The range of parking prices are very reasonable indeed & payment can be made by using cash coins or card .
Only £3 for over 5 hours so really cheap and in a decent location just by the garden area and Trent over looking the castle
Prices have changed and it’s no longer free to park for the first 2 hours as it used to be apparently. But £2 for 4 hours parking was fine. Close to the town centre and toilets in hand too. Nice to walk across the river and lock gates.

Very cheap car parking and near town centre.
Room for 200 plus cars. 5mins walk from Newark shops via canal bridge. £2 for 4 hours.
£3 all day. Conveniently located for the river and shopping.
Used this place to go to the Newark Town Lock. Reasonable charges and plenty of spaces.
not free for a short stay unlike the photo! fairly big carpark,relatively cheap,handy for the castle and centre of newark
