I had a great experience at this shop a few weeks ago. I found a pair of jeans in a style I loved, which also fit perfectly. The jeans had a damaged zip, but the staff ordered a pair into the store for me to collect. Since I really liked the jeans, they also found me some in a similar style and a different colour. I can never find jeans that fit, so getting two pairs in the same shopping trip is amazing. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The delivery was fast too, they were ordered on a Saturday and I was able to pick them up on Tuesday or Wednesday of the following week. I definitely recommend this shop!
I don’t normally write reviews but I felt it necessary from today’s experience. I didn’t catch the young gentleman’s name but I went in looking for a jumpsuit for holiday, he greeted me as I walked past him and then showed me some lovely jumpsuits and made me feel really good about myself. He was so polite, friendly and professional. An absolute credit to your company and a fantastic member of your team. I just want to thank him as he really put a smile on my face
Had to return some trousers and the girl behind the desk was so helpful, she was training I didn’t catch her name but customer service was perfect, lovely girl made the whole thing so much easier!
So bad experience so rude and misbehaving staff not cooperating this never happened to me before there lier staff and incharge nobody did this before they lied they misbehaved very badly I went there today and I want to return the shirt there is the cashier who said it has marks on it and just called the incharge lady she was so rude and behaved so bad and she said the same thing although it has no marks on it nothing its just new and purchased one day before its just a size issue i recommend to everyone not go rhere my expereince is sooo bad the incharge who wears glasses is soo rude and bad and she says that i am shouting on her although she is misbehaving with me so poor experience so bad staff i am very disappointed sooo much bad experience i am never gonna go there and I suggest the same thing to everyone please dont go there i you want your insult than go there they just made up an excuse they dont want to return it they ate lier i read other reviews aswell i realised that they are just making it up i am not new in this world i know what happens when you go somewhere and ask for exchange or refund she is telling me to behave somebody tell her to learn manners and ethics so bad.
Same issue as another ladies review at walsall river island, instantly refused to explain or to even exchange my item as I have thrown wrong receipt away which yes is my own fault. I rang up tamworth river island, they were so helpful and explained I can exchange my item as they can search for the item! So I'm very grateful for tamworth and their lovely staff.
At a retail park there is good parking. Ladies on the ground floor men and kids on first. Good selection is always tidy. The staff are friendly and helpful.
I visited the store and asked if I could exchange a pair of jeans bought for my son as a gift for the next size up as they were too tight despite him being a teenager and the jeans being from the men's dept but my request was refused and now I have a pair of £37 jeans that cannot be used. Store staff members said that without the receipt they wouldn't offer any help, but this is the second time this store has refused me an exchange, and the first time I did have a receipt I had to take the item to the West Bromwich branch where I had no issues. Needless to say I won't be shopping at this Walsall branch in the future.
Not been in for a long while, got some good stuff on sale rails for children , I had a lovely smelling candle, was £14 down to £10 then sticker says £7, paid £4 at the till, I do love a bargain!!!! Lady on till was pleasant,
Today at the Walsall - River Island my sister and I were served by a lovely young lady MIA. She was very polite and professional and made my shopping experience there wonderful. Mia helped us find the items we wanted and her knowledge on your products was really useful. I am a regular shopper at RI and from now on I will shop at the Walsall branch.
Had the most ill mannered RACIST staff member serve us this afternoon. We went to collect a click and collect order. Waiting at the till and woman came and bluntly said what's your order number. Marched off to pick it up. Came back and put her hand out to hand it over. Didn't have the decency to say hello or thank you. Hope she gets replaced by soemone well mannered
