Bought a jumper here in the sales. Got home and noticed that there's a giant tear Goin all the way up the sleeve. Tried phoning store about it, and keep having staff pick up phone and instantly hang up before speaking. Last year I bought a shirt, and it had a huge very unpleasant stain down the side. With that, I just binned it. It's the second time now I've bought clothes in embarrassingly bad condition. If I'm returning what I've bought, I'm expecting something for the inconvenience of me having to travel back to the store.
Extremely polite and helpful staff . Had reason to call to this store not not clothes related to ask directions the two assistants could not have helped me enough. I write this as someone in need of help isn't always received with such kindness. I browsed the shop which is beautifully laid out.
Visited the store a couple of days ago to do some last minute Christmas shopping for my wife and kids, the store was nice and clean and the staff was very helpful. One of the sales member named Asim provided great assistance and help me find products which I had found online but wanted to see in store. He was patient and had a friendly demeanour. Overall I had a great experience shopping here. :
Very poor service , the previous manager was great and very helpful smiled and chatty. The current manager stubborn and won't refund or exchange even if you got a receipt on top they accuse you of wearing the clothes! Customer service training required for some staff at this store . Won't be going to this store anymore !
Like this shop clothes are usually good quality and the bags. It has a good layout an clean and tidy. Had a good sale on an bought some trousers. Staff were friendly and polite.
Had some confusion over a gift card and the young man that dealt with me was very concerned about making sure I got everything I needed and was so polite. He really did all he could to resolve the situation and within a few minutes he gave me all the information I needed and made sure I was happy before I left!! I wish Id gotten his name because he deserve a shout out.
i’ve bought jewellery from this place twice, and both times i’ve had to return them within 3 weeks as they’ve rusted or broken. disappointed. clothes are good, but very expensive.
As a 69 year old pensioner I couldn't fault the young lady in the changing room, she was so helpful & definitely not age-ist, as was her associate on the till. They made my first experience shopping in River Island really lovely.. And I purchased 2 amazing pair of shorts. THANKS
Nice staff and a good store, a few nice items but not very many on sale, the only ones that are seem to be clearance of old stock. They didn't have the size for the things I wanted unfortunately however the staff member was accommodating and made recommendations. One of the downfalls would be the queue size. They should possibly get more people on the tills.
