First class food & service. Highly recommended. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Carvery is second to none. Choice is amazing and the food all fresh & hot. I'd also highly recommend their afternoon tea. Particularly the platinum one. Absolutely amazing value for money. Worth a visit whether it's for a coffee lunch or special dinner. Every taste is catered for

Was at the Christmas party night last night ( sat 16th), the venue was very clean and tidy, the staff were very helpful and friendly, the food was great, the entertainment was fun... a very well run event. The food I had was soup, turkey dinner finished with cheesecake, I enjoyed every part of the meal, was very hot, tasted great, and well presented, the service was very good too. Entertainment wise, the DJ did a good job of making everyone feel welcome, the party games were a laugh, and the music had everyone up dancing. Venue wise, all bars looked clean and tidy, the staff were very helpful and nothing seemed to much bother, and was well staffed. Would I go again, yes 100%, and would recommend the venue to anyone, again a 100% yes. Well done on a enjoyable night.

My family, all 12 of us enjoyed our Xmas dinner at the river inn. The staff were all so attentive and friendly, food was amazing and we had a corner all to ourselves. This was our first year without my mum and I was dreading it but my day was much easier thanks to the staff at the river inn my dad and I had a lovely time.Many thanks.

Fantastic food at good prices, average main course £10, some cheaper some higher. Excellent steak our and chicken with haggis.

Jumped in for a few pints and watch football with friends and family to be greeted with chips and sandwiches. Great atmosphere and stayed longer than we should. Great for families too.
