We've eaten here on quite a few occasions, sometimes as a couple and at other times as a family party. The service is always excellent! The welcome is warm and the customer care is genuinely sincere. Their menu is varied and everything is freshly prepared to order. Without exception every meal I've enjoyed at River City has been a memorable treat. Roast Sunday dinner could pass as a Christmas Day feast! All this and Real Ale on tap... highly recommended.

Fab food very friendly landlord would recommend this place just had a stunning beef stroganoff 5 mins from Baltic Wharf Caravan club

Great loaded nachos from a very friendly landlord.
Brought out the biggestbottle of tobasco I've ever seen. They had a good kick already!
The bar qas very quiet and with no music it felt slightly odd. Would recommend asking for some music from the friendly landlord.
The outdoor seating does the job, however it's very close to the road and the view of the river isn't spectacular.
I'd recommend it for a quiet drink and some food after work.
