An other great example of English cathedral building! It is a lovely place to visit. The staff is very friendly. The structure of this building is taking your breath away. So much ornamentation, and still so lightweight! Very good day out. Look for the romantic small streets around the historic downtown!

Central to historic Ripon is the Cathedral. History is carved into its very fabric and is something not to miss when visiting Ripon itself. Beautiful architecture and stained glass windows and cavernous interior that will make you draw your breath.

Ripon Cathedral was very nice and i like the idea of donation rather than entry fee. However Ripon its self was very disappointing.
