Had an enjoyable evening here recently after having been recommended to the place by a few people. There was a lively atmosphere on arrival with many people taking advantage of the "early bird" offer; I was surprised that this was available on a Saturday. Service was a bit slow but the situation improved after numbers reduced later on. All our party enjoyed their food which was good fayre rather than exceptionally memorable. A very well-appointed place with a bit of an American diner feel to it rather than an Italian restaurant. All things considered it was nice to find a decent place to eat in Wigan and we will certainly return.

I think this is the best Italian in Wigan. Great staff and never a bad meal in ten years of visiting. Excellent all round

This is an under-priced and Under-rated resteraunt. I eat out a lot, from Indian, thai/ chinese resteraunts to English and Italians (including Gino De'Campo's in Manchester) and have to say that this is the best resteraunt I have eaten in. If you want to taste authentic food (Italian food, or even English food) then this is the resteraunt to visit. The quality/ taste is spot on, the portion sizes are definitely substantial, the price is very impressive, and there is a really nice atmosphere, quite classy.
