The Royal Wootton Bassett office dealt with the sale of our house and showed the true value of using a good agent. All calls were answered, all questions dealt with accurately and exceptional standard of presentation in selling our home. One stand out was Alex Brown, who showed exceptional skill and knowledge to his trade which got us all in the chain to completion. A very happy customer who will recommend you all to everyone we know.
Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, estate agency. I had a really competitive quote for selling my property and the process of getting onto the market and organising viewings went very smoothly.. I was kept well informed throughout the entire process. Everyone I dealt with at this branch was an ultimate professional and quick to respond to questions. I can’t thank them enough. Another little bonus is that the office always smells lovely!
Sold our house in 2 days! Changed Estate Agents to Richard James Royal Wootton Bassett after 12 weeks with a Swindon based company. Daisy Costin was enthusiastic and proactive with our sale. She had a viewing arranged the day that Richard James became sole agents and an offer the following day over asking price. Completed within 2 months. Could not be happier with them.
Worst experience with Richard James estate agents as they book an appointment for viewing the property and I drove 1and half your from Sandhurst but the owner doesn’t allow us to view the property. I just wasted my whole day
I just wanted to pass on our thanks to the branch manager Alex. My partner and I were out for dinner last month and happened to stop with friends to look at properties in the window. We enquired about a house they had as we do have plans to retire here in a few years. Bearing in mind it was well after 7pm on a Friday evening, was surprised to see someone in the office so late. Alex gave us over half hour of his time and was exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly and shows he is clearly passionate about what he does. We were given some brilliant advice on how to sell our house in Nottingham and chose an agent. We really appreciated the time taken for the advice provided and all the help we received. When we do come to look for a house in the Swindon area Alex will be our first port of call. Thanks again.
Amazing team. Switched to RJ after I lost a buyer and the team went all out to get me back on the market, with some decent viewings/offers. Now buying through them as well, as these guys have been super helpful with obtaining information about the house/area I was interested in. The team are genuinely enthusiastic about their jobs and take a personal interest in their clients requirements. I know they will be with me every step of the way, until I finally walk through my new front door!
I highly recommend Alex Brown, he is definitely the right person to sell your house. He sold my property when other agencies failed. Alex and his team got me an offer within two weeks and continued to work hard until completion. Even though completion took little while longer, I was kept in the loop and updated on a regular basis. Alex always returned my calls if he wasn't available there and then. Very professional. I can't praise his hard work as well as the rest of the team enough. HS

Previously sold my flat through Richard James, however through another branch. However this branch was just as good, if not better. My house is in Calne, and they were professional but informative about current market, listened to how we would like it sold. Having 2 dogs wasn’t easy to keep the place clean every evening for a viewing, so opted for an open day And they loved the place as much as we did. Images were amazing. Slight issue with floorplan but not their fault but they noticed it and were keen to fix it. Overall, cannot fault Richard James’ amazing staff
