Just purchased a second car from the Rhondda Motor Company. The staff are brilliant, friendly and help every time we had a question. Part exchange rates are great and again they will do everything to help. The cars are clean and the team will answer any questions about a car with great advice. Please take a look when you're thinking about getting a car.
My car was purchased from here, and when it broke down on the way, a friend came to pull it with his own car. Then I opened my car trunk and was surprised. Because the car missed a tow hook, I was stranded for a day. Please ensure that the cars you sell are safe for your customers. I will reconsider my comment if you contact me and solve my problem.
A horrible experience that was a complete waste of time. Zero customer service, Zero help and a serious attitude problem.....Imagine if they are this bad before buying a car, how bad would they be after buying a car if there were any problems? We had a look around hoping to buy a cheap run around after we saw a few cars from the RMC forecourt on gumtree. No one even bothered to acknowledge us or ask us if we needed any help. We found our way to the office and tried to discuss buying a car with Dan. Dan was the rudest salesperson...if I can call him that, I have ever met. I asked about what he had available in my price range and he just went through his website and said there were about 25 cars in my price range. I asked if the cars came with an MOT one year he said, if they had any warranty one month and if any of the cars had any service history no, apparently you can't expect a service history on used cars. He then said that he was sick of customers asking the same questions, apparently "it gets annoying and starts to grate having to answer these same stupid questions over and over all day" Well guess what Dan...that's your job...to sell cars and provide customer service. This was just one example of Dans appalling attitude that I had the misfortune of experiencing while in his office. I can buy a car privately for a similar or lower price WITH a full-service history or at least some service history and a year's MOT. The one-month warranty is next to pointless. The big thing for me though was Dans attitude. The guy didn't even get up from his chair, he was so disgustingly rude and insulting and when I asked if there was any car he wanted to sell me he said "no there was not" what sort of salesperson has that attitude? You're better off cutting out the rude middle man and buying privately...what's the point of buying from here for the only extras you'll get here; a one-month warranty, some insults and a bad taste in your mouth. I rarely leave reviews but I feel I should warn anyone going of what they can expect. They won't be seeing my money that's for sure.
Had a terrible experience! Firstly after looking around at the cars we noticed almost every car was completely covered in mould steering wheels, gear sticks, seat belts, seats. So would advise anyone going to see a car to take a cloth to wipe the car down before you view or drive it. Test drove the first car a white corsa which the engine light was on, and wouldn’t accelerate over 30mph, so decided to test drive a different corsa which was also completely covered in mould, and engine was making a strange sound hunting and had a lot of smoke coming out of the exhaust. We decided to look at one more car while we were there because we had travelled quite far to get to this garage. To which dans response was very rude, and had a very bad attitude. It made me feel very intimidated the rest of the time that I was there. Saying he felt like we’d taken too long with the other cars, when we’d only been 15 minutes max per car. The third car then wouldn’t even start. Horrible experience from start to finish!!
I would avoid this dealership at all costs. They sold me a broken vehicle and offered little to no help with fixing it. I worked hard to save and spent thousands on this van now I’m left with a worthless piece of junk. And on top of the the staff were hostile and rude. Spend your money elsewhere!
Recently bought an Insignia, staff were amazing. And the aftercare was second to none! Can't recommend this garage enough.
Avoid this garage!!!! The only reason for a 1 star is I can’t give 0. My son had his car in September 2022 and by March 2023 within 5 months of purchase on finance the timing belt snapped. Where I understand that’s can happy through wear and tear little did we know on further investigation of the car the amount of issues/problems with the car. We spoke to Dan on 11th March 2023 and how rude was he. I had to ask him 3 times to stop raising his voice at a woman. He was quite happen to pass the Buck onto Ford mind!! When I asked him if he knew that the timing belt was to go would he tell the buyer. He told me no he doesn’t have that amount of time to deal with his customers. He also told me he often would fix the repair or offer a discount. He did neither of them for my son. Following a further call I asked Dan ‘was he able to help and talk to me rather than raise his voice’ again told me to go to Ford. Explained to Dan ‘no problem but I will be taking this further to Trading Standards he then decided he can help if we pay for the parts and they do the labour for free. But wanted to charge £1300. When I asked would we have any kind of cover with that then, Dan decided to change his mind and didn’t want to help as apparently I was picking faults. No just covering ourselves he stung us once and won’t again for sure. So thanks to this fantastic garage NOT!!! We’ve been left with a £3800 bill. Dan is a very rude man and tries very hard to intimidate people. AVIOD THIS GARAGE
My son bought his first car here good choice of cars at lower prices professional service friendly and no pushy salesman could pick the car up next day with new 12 month m o the Would use again
On my second car from RMC. Always had great service. I’ve always found the prices fair. Would highly recommend.
So far so good. Chosen my car and have requested some work to be done before collection which was agreed. Very easy to deal with as there were several emails back and forth and not were not pushy at all. Says it as it is which I like. Looking forward to picking it up next week. Car going back in for work on the sunroof. Very helpful in dealing with the issue. Other than this the car is great.
