My first time buying/dealing with Richards guitars. From my first correspondence with Richard on a Sunday afternoon!! to receiving my Guitar and be kept in the link by Jon and Jake was “as good as it get’s “ truly top notch!! My Guitar, a Cort G300 Raw Natural satin was delivered with a extremely high quality set up by Chris. Will definitely be dealing with these guys again.
I had such a great experience here! I hadn’t played the guitar for years but wanted to start again and finally buy a beautiful instrument, and coming to this shop was the perfect place to do it. I had some email back and forth before visiting which was so friendly and informative. When I visited the shop the staff were incredibly helpful and talked me through all the different guitars, and gave me plenty of time on my own to try them out. I felt kind of nervous about it because I had pretty much forgotten how to play but they also played them for me so I could hear how they are supposed to sound! I bought a gorgeous Dowina and I play it every day now, I love it so much
We’ve just got this wonderful Furch Red GC-SR, from the excellent Richards Guitars. Kathy's absolutely delighted with it.  It looks and sounds beautiful. She's found the guitar she's been looking for and she's found the sound that she’s been listening for too : Everybody at Richards Guitars has been fabulous. Jake and Jon were really friendly and helpful with their advice as we decided about this guitar. Chris fitted an LR Baggs Anthem pickup and set up the guitar perfectly for Kathy. The customer service at Richards Guitars is superb, which gave us a lot of confidence to get Kathy’s guitar from here. If Kathy ever finds that she wants to get another guitar then we’ll definitely be coming back to Richards Guitars to get it. Thanks to everybody at Richards Guitars for all you’ve done to help Kathy to find her perfect guitar .

**Excellent Experience at Richards Guitars** I recently visited Richards Guitars for a private appointment to try out some acoustic guitars, and I was thoroughly impressed with the service. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly and found a selection of six guitars prepared for me to test, all within my budget. I had discussed what I was looking for prior to my visit via email and telephone with Jon. What stood out to me was the lack of price tags on the guitars. This allowed me to focus on the feel and sound of each instrument without being influenced by their cost. The shop provided all the necessary accessories, including a capo, tuner, and various plectrums, which was a thoughtful touch : I appreciated the privacy given to me during my visit. I had the freedom to spend time with each guitar and even explore others from the shelf, knowing that assistance was available whenever I needed it. After about 2.5 hours, I found the perfect guitar! A stunning Dowina OMG! The store will now set it up, install a pickup, and ship it to me. I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Richards Guitars and highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality guitars and excellent service. Thank you so much!!

Took my Furch for it's 6 month check and re-set which is a free service as part of purchasing a guitar from Richard. Can not fault the attention and advice from the guys. All sorted on a Saturday morning which saved me another 3 hr round trip the following week. If you are looking to buy a quality guitar give Richards a call, they go above and beyond to make sure the customer is happy. 100% recommended
It was my first time purchasing an instrument from Richards Guitars and I must say it was a positive experience. Jon The Manager was very swift with his replies and constantly kept me in the loop with my order. I had placed my Danelectro Longhorn Bass order on the 21st August and it eventually arrived on the 1st September, so not really a long wait. The bass was perfectly in tune straight out of the box and was in absolute optimum playing condition. I could have taken it straight to a gig! So kudos to their guitar tech Chris. He did an excellent job. 4 days later and the Danelectro still plays great! Packaging wise, I think it's Richard who does their packaging? Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised upon it's arrival. The Bass was practically bomb proof, which makes a nice change for once. I think a lot of shops should take note of it. The only thing I was ever so slightly disappointed by was that a day later, the vinyl tape on the body started to lift like a millimeter or so away from the body on the left side, on the deepest part of the cutaway. Though this is absolutely no fault of Richards Guitars and is merely 'the nature of the beast' with Longhorns. It's an easy fix, so it's not the end of the world. I'm still very happy with the bass wish I bought one sooner!! and I really can't complain. Great experience overall and I'll definitely be purchasing again from Richards Guitars. P.S. To add to this review, my comment about the vinyl tape lifting for anyone who may be reading this. It doesn't affect playability at all and only somewhat bothered me due to aesthetic reasons! If you're looking for a short scale, I'd highly recommend the Longhorn. So please don't let that comment deter you from trying one! Anyway, thanks again Richards Guitars, I'll definitely be returning soon!
I purchased a Furch blue OM CM from richards guitars that arrived a few days ago. This guitar is stunning! Richards Guitars are so easy to deal with, the guitar arrived in about 10 days which was less time than I was originally planning for, it was extremely well packaged and the setup was spot on..I literally just have to press the strings to fret them. I was kept up to date through out the process from ordering to delivery. If you want to order a guitar for next day delivery then this place isn't for you, but if you want a quality instrument that's been setup correctly then use richards guitars. Now all I need to do is persuade the girlfriend that I need a red series in my life!
