Nice long store, plenty of variety only disappointment was clothes were on floor under the shelves in quite a lot of places and no seem to be any staff fixing this problem. Great location on the high street where most of the towns/ city's shops are.
Had to wait a while due to lack of staff at the beauty counters, but the consultant I spoke to was excellent and I booked the appointment I wanted for a make up trial. My partner had a collection in the menswear and the sales ladys customer service was nothing short of excellent. And we had a free coffee. Overall a great experience.
Had some good stuff and some not so good, like all stores. Staff always helpful and friendly. BUT I hear Stratford upon Avon branch will close to make way for yet another hotel...so no point in liking it too much.
It's not a bad store got good ranges of clothing. There's top brand cosmetics. Only downside is there aren't cruelty free/vegan brands being sold. Time Debenhams got with the times
I am a regular shopper at this store and have a Debenhams store card. For at least the past 8 weeks the lift had been out of order. Not very good when you have a toddler in pushchair. Children's department on first floor restaurant and toilets on second floor. Staff have no idea when it will be fixed.
I can never fault Debenhams. They've been around 'forever' and I've found their service to always be excellent. Even when buying on line and doing the click and collect service, it's all so very easy, and if anything I've bought us not suitable, you can just return it to the store without any fear of postal charges.
I have used this store since I was a small child so it holds a bit of a sentimental attachment. It could do with a lick of paint and a tidy up in places but other than this it is a well appointed town centre store with a good range of stock.
Lift was out of order and it seemed it has been out of order for a very long time. With children wear being on the first floor it was practically impressive to go upstairs with a pram as there was no other alternative. There were no automatic doors either so it’s not at all disabled or baby & pram friendly. Disappointing.
A few sale items available but quality of goods and displays looks dated and tired. An air of the 90s rather than the second decade of the 21st century. A pity such a formerly top chain has slipped down a peg or two.
My local Debenhams with a great choice of products. I visit the store mostly for the make-up counters. I have been using Estee Lauder since I can remember and the service is always outstanding. The girl on the Estee Lauder counter with the brown hair who I think is the manager is very professional and makes me feel like a valued customer on every visit. I would never go anywhere else for my make up. Also the lady on shoes is very helpful and polite. Lovely store. Highly recommend.
