I received a letter from the Revenue that I really wanted to talk to someone about as it needed some explanation. Arrived to the offices in Galway city around 11am. All stations were already occupied. I was greeted by Èanna at the reception desk. After explaining my issue he was more than helpful with showing me on my phone how I can sort out my problem. 5 star for his customer service skills, knowledge and patience with my phone. Thank you!
I phoned today before 1.30 was waiting less than the time. The service provider was excellent. She sorted my tax credits. Gave excellent guidance on how to use the online system. I had to delete a rebates inc that I was unaware of. I came away ferling more clear and also how I can do my own tax reviews etc
Went in to inquire about my tax back and another issue. A young girl with blonde hair and glasses laughed in my face and told me she didn’t deal with those issues in that department. Could not have been more unhelpful or rude.
Says on website open until 1pm, get time of work to make it there before one o clock. When I get to the revenue office in Galway there is a notice on the door saying closed until further notice. Called the number provided and was told “there is a significant que ahead of you, we cannot take your call at this moment”. Absolutely shocking service.
My experience is terrible they will not answer the phone this automated service just Direct you to the one place all the time and then drops to call very insufficient work ethics
shocking from revenue went to their building in galway online says open and when i went there turns out they are closed until further notice after i called them they said there is a significant que and your request cannot be taken at the moment terrible customer service
I been calling for weeks on end no answer only the ‘ there is a significant queue ahead and we cannot answer your call’
Terrible organisation, never answer phone calls, opening and closing times are ludicrous. It seems as though they're trying their hardest to hold onto your hard earned cash..
The worst bureaucracy in history. slow, bad, abusive and constantly dizzy. None do their job properly. They always send you to call another number or send a different email. Learn to work hard and solve the problems of ordinary citizens. I would like to put 0 stars, but is not possible.
After trip to my local revenue office I was left with a bad taste by the person working at the reception. My issue was to have some docs signed and stamped and was told to leave them by the desk and that they will be posted back to me. As I was trying to explain to the lady that they were important docs she was talking to someone else and going on ``ya ya ya``leave them there without asking for my home address or phone number.Soon I need to make a second trip as my docs still have not arrived ;
