Retromania

Story

RETROMANIA is a unique vintage charity shop in the heart of central London UK.

We concentrate exclusively on vintage clothing & accessories, designer, avant-garde pieces, retro and paraphernalia from the Victorian era to the 1990s.

For more than a decade RETROMANIA has been called a 'treasure trove' by our customers, stylists & fashion enthusiasts due to our wide range of vintage items and labels such as Chanel, Biba, Ossie Clark, Hermes, Westwood, Jean Muir, Kenzo, Dior etc. which are all generously donated to us by the public.

RETROMANIA is part of the FARA charity which has been working to transform the lives of abandoned and marginalised children and young people in Romania since 1991. Every purchase you make at RETROMANIA and other FARA charity shops will not only be a rewarding experience, it will contribute towards supporting the charity's programmes helping disadvantaged children.

As visitors, we wanted to experience some of the shops that citizens in London visit. So we looked for a resale shop and it was fun to browse and I even found a beautiful top. The employee was so helpful and extra kind. They play music from the '50s and '60s which was so appropriate.
I had a very unpleasant experience while shopping at the shop, where I was treated with open hostility. Unfortunately, the staff chose to do nothing and showed complete indifference to what was happening. It’s disappointing to see a lack of responsibility and care in such situations.
Such a gem. Makes me happy every time I go in! Browsing is so fun, and the prices are reasonable for truly vintage items.
People who think this is a great charity shop haven’t been to great charity shops. This particular one is overpriced and many of the clothes are dirty. Some have holes in and they charge the earth. The staff are not too friendly either. If you want to go to see a proper charity shop you have to travel outside of London.
The collection here is amazing, prices super reasonable and the staff is so nice
Vintage Thrift store, has so many retro products and the staff are lovely!
Gorgeous retro fashions in colour coordinated racks. Some items are priced quite high but most are very reasonable. Make sure to check out the beautiful gowns in the evening wear and bridal section next to the changing rooms. Well worth a look even if just to take in the displayed clothes on the walls as it goes all the way up. I hope to go back and take even longer if I can.
The things you can find here are such a delight. Huge variety at reasonable prices and you can feel good about supporting charity. Worth the extra bit of travel if you're visiting Soho for vintage shopping.
Good selection of vintage, I wish the prices are slightly better
Cool vintage charity shop not too far from Victoria Station. The staff are always friendly and they have some interesting items, especially in the basement.
