Lisboa Cafe owned by Joao is a wonderful cafe and one of my favourite cafes at Cardiff Bay. It sells wonderful Portuguese Pastel de Natas tarts and other cakes and savouries. Lovely spot and the coffee is wonderful. Joao is so handsome and a wonderful host.
The best portuguese place in Cardiff bay to have a very relaxing enjoyable and good quality breakfast and good coffee to the sound of fado. I do recommend highly this charming portuguese café. We went there for breakfast both days when stayed in Cardiff. João the owner is a 5* host and Lily was very lovely. Alda
An absolutely lovely little place, that serves a divine hot cocoa and the pastries were almost as good. Good vibes and even better service, I would definitely make it my daily go to if I stayed in Cardiff :

Three old dudes on our way to the opera on a Sunday night. Our first time in the Bay since the pandemic. All our usual haunts were either full or simply not there any more. Really needing a coffee we stumbled on this absolute gem! Nice coffee & amazing, delicious cakes. Lisboa Cafe will be our first port of call every time now. Loved it!
This is one of my favourite spots in Cardiff. They have great coffee, I would give my right arm for the pastel de natas, all the food is always delicious and the staff is so friendly!
I can easily recommend this place. Got 2 coffees and a few sweet breakfast items from here on a Friday a little before 9am. Delicious stuff. Service was quick.
Oh my word really wanted to try Portuguese tarts. Amazing. Lovely and clean fabulous staff ate 2 tarts in a row. Best ever.
Nice place, but £3.85 for a Stake bake which was mostly pastry with very little filling was really quite a rip off.
