A really nice service apartment and close to a lot of restaurants. Plenty of choices for food, breakfast is really good quality even if there's only small selection compared to other 4* hotels I've been. The bed and pillows are really comfy and the room we got is quite spacious for a family of 4. Will highly recommend this place. The rooftop restaurant gives you a nice view of Slough, Windsor
We stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting LEGOLAND. We really enjoyed our stay here. We had originally booked in to stay in the Moxy next door but they had upgraded us for free.nnThe room was beautifully decorated, pristinely clean, spacious and lovely and quiet. Only downside was that the beds weren’t the most comfortable and the pillows extremely flat but that certainly didn’t spoil it for us.nnThe location was excellent. Really close to all amenities and only about a 15 minute drive to LEGOLAND which was obviously perfect for us. The car park was okay but is about a 2 minute walk from the hotel and did have a bit of an eery feel about it, didn’t feel totally safe walking around there in the dark.nnThe breakfast was great. Simple but effective and plenty of option for everyone.nThe staff were all excellent and overall, we would highly recommend this place to everyone.
Great experience staying here for 3 weeks. Good amenities in the room and out of the room too. Nice reception and the moxys hotel is a great area to work out of, hangout in and just chill. A quick walk from the mall, restaurants and right across from the library and church.nThe train station and a large Tesco grocery store similar to Walmart are a quick 5 min walk.nBreakfast is included however it would have been nice to have some variety as it was the same breakfast for 3 weeks so we often just made our own and went up a couple times a week. Breakfast is quite filling with eggs, sausages, bacon, hash-browns, baked beans, variety of breads with condiments, yogurts with different toppings, pastries and fruits.nThe also have free laundry machines - you have to buy the detergentnnWould definitely recommend
We chose this hotel because of the close proximity to Heathrow airport for our morning departure and the room size for 3 people with luggage. Wasn’t really impressed with bathroom because of the size and the fact that the shower enclosure covered about half of the opening, so you’re definitely going to get water on the floor. There was also some type of construction going on which forced us to enter through the attached hotel Maxie and work your way through to the elevators. We did use the restaurant on property and enjoyed the service, food and atmosphere. There was also an outstanding dessert place Heavenly Desserts next door! Uber drop off and pickup has to occur on a side street for access and safety I guess. Both drivers we used went to a side street which was only a minutes walk.
I was very disappointed when I went to room 705, and the noise of the air-conditioning or other vents in the ceiling was unbearable. I complained to reception and was told the manager would try and turn off the air-conditioning. After 40 minutes, I complained again to reception and was told to return to the room and wait 20 minutes for the manager.nnAfter 30 minutes, I went back to the reception because the room was still unbearable, and at that point, I was given a new room, 724, which was much quieter.nnMy complaint concerns the unnecessary delay and the three attempts it took to change the room.nnI don’t recommend this hotel as the manager knows some rooms are unbearable and ignores customers, hoping they’ll stop asking for another room.
