I stayed in a one-bedroom suite, which was impressively spacious and a cost-effective option. The hotel's location is ideal for commuting, especially with easy access to the Elizabeth line. Really impressed by this hotelnThe reception/ lobby bit is sooo modern, clean and lovely. Great place to do some work, have a coffee etc.nthere is a coffee machine which is avaliable to use free of charge all trip.nThe service is amazing- the staff really helped with anything I asked. They were so accommodating when I needed early check in as it was my brothers wedding.nDoors are locked from 7pm and you have to buzz- from a safety aspect that is fantastic too. Really impressed.
What i liked:nI stayed here for a week with my mother and had the suite with the Kitchen booked. This is a fairly new hotel, i believe it was completed in 2023, so a lot of the amenities have not been used. From checking into our room to the breakfast every morning included in the room rate to the service from the staff was great. The Railway Station is 10 min walk and bus stations across the road, incase you want to plan your excursions, this is great. There are lots of eateries and grocery places where you can buy food items if you want to make your own meals.nnWhat i did not like:n- no email sent prior to check in telling us that reception is on the 9th floor, that key cards don't work after 7 pm- you need to use the intercom to get buzzed in and only one elevator goes directly yo the 8th floor laundry room unless you get a key card provisioned for that floor- they did not even mention all this upon check in.n- Cleaning done the first few days was great but last few days of the stay, they did less than the bare minimum and didn't sweep the floor.n- no power plug point in the bathroom for the hair dryer, just electric shavers, had to dry my hair using the point near the entrance door- really not idealn- water spills onto the floor and out the bathroom door, while showering, there is no sliding door, just a glass pane adjacent to the showern- bathroom gets really stuffy as the extractor was not working. The technician came and took a look at it and was kind enough to leave a note and explain the issue, but it eventually was not resolved.n- there is a door connecting most of the rooms, so if you end up next to very noisy residents, you will not be able to sleep
Great idea, badly executed. Great rooms and kid friendly with tent toys and goody bag. But three things 1. Their recommendation on parking is terrible. Drove in and it was dangerous, not safe, we drove straight out and parked at station. more expensive but safer. Area around isn't great which is probably why reception is on 9th floor. 2. Restaurant closed and we had no prior warning. Not great after 12 hours at Lego land and travelling. You need to tell people and it isn't room service if I have to go and pick up the food myself. 3. Breakfast - ludicrously small self service area to serve multiple families. Saying that rooms very well appointed and view from 9th over breakfast was great. Main problem is parking. I don't want to walk around with tired kids in dodgy neighbourhoods. Go to station.
Nice hotel, good location. Walking distance from Slough station and high street market. Large rooms will fully equipped kitchen. Ayesha and Monica were really helpful at the breakfast.nOnly complaint is that they serve the exact same breakfast all days of the week. I stayed for 4 weeks and got bored of the same breakfast after a week. Please have some variety in breakfast. I wonder how come they don't get bored of cooking that same thing.nAlso, they need to renew their spring mattress. They are old and have lost their stiffness. Had uncomfortable sleep on them.
