About

August 1983 saw the opening of Nargile, introducing authentic traditional Turkish cuisine to Aberdeen.

Story

In August 2003 the owners, Yusuf and Karen Iridag, relocated to Aberdeen's West-end and opened Rendezvous @ Nargile, offering a crossroads of dining experience. As the Bosphorus Bridge connects Asia and Europe, Rendezvous provides a modernised menu with both Middle-Eastern and Mediterranean influences.

Our restaurant boasts a fine team of hard working staff who will do their utmost to ensure that your dining experience is a pleasant and unforgettable one.

Open everyday 12pm til late, Rendezvous is a family friendly restaurant and perfect for a relaxed meal at any time of the day. The decor is warm and contemporary and weather permitting, there is the option of al fresco dining which lends itself perfectly to the Mediterranean vibe.

With over 25 years of experience in the industry and a passion for producing some of the best dishes in town, Rendezvous @ Nargile provides the perfect Aberdeen restaurant experience.

Lovely place, nice staff and really nice food. This is a nice little place not a huge amount of seating so book in advance from Thursday to Sunday. It's a simple menu but it has the classics and it's really tasty. The portions are not huge so I do recommend a starter + salad and main or main + pudding.
Guys. I'm begging you. Go. Here. Hands down the best meal I've had apart from my mother's cooking, of course. Photos really don't do this justice. Just go. What are you waiting for???!! Thank me later or rather, thank the chef later.
Love the meze here, but really disappointing to see how much the quantity on each plate has reduced! The quality's still great, but wow, have the portions shrunk! Service and atmosphere as great as ever. Been going here since they opened 10+ years, but first time I felt we sparingly 'spread' the dishes on the bread as opposed to 'topped'.
Had a good meal here for three at a decent price point. The flavors in every small dish were well constructed and complemented each other. A fantastic and unexpected find.

Fantastic food. Lovely, informal venue. My only complaint would be that the was far too much! I was absolutely stuffed after the meze starter and main course. Reasonably priced as well, which is nice.
