Relish is an independent delicatessen in Wotton-under-Edge

Story

As a delicatessen we do all the usual things such as Olives, fresh home made pates, Panini's. We also have a fantastic salad bar and have built up a good reputation with our high quality ready meals such as Beef in Guinness, Lamb with Apricot and brandy or just good old lasagne.
We have a wide selection of cake slices and freshly baked breads all made daily on the premises.
Recently we have been expanding our Gluten free range to include cakes, scones and many packaged goods.
If your planning a special event Relish also customise Buffets for up to 100 people and can create celebration cakes for any occasion.

You can get amazing home-cooked frozen meals here that you can heat up in the oven at home. The quality was amazing, like eating at a restaurant. Super easy too. We had a beef casserole, a potato bake, a beef curry, and a veggie curry - all were fantastic.
COVID safety in place. Staff masked. Plastic screens at counter. This place has amazing food. Savoury pastries, cakes, chicken curry, veg curry. Dietary needs catered for. GF food. Staff super helpful and friendly. All takeaway at time of review. Small extended pavement outside for bikes. No chairs or tables seen.

The food is lovely, however I find the customer service to be hostile and lacking if you aren't posh.
Don't be fooled by the unassuming shop frontage. The quality of home cooked food here is exceptional. We often have baked goods from here and they're always fantastic. Recently we had one of their precooked meal deals 3 course Valentines special, even though heated through at home it was restaurant quality starters through to desert. The desert were especially amazing Quality and great value.
The vegan options and local drinks keep us coming back again and again.
Lovely business, ever changing extensive menu and awesome food. Friendly staff. Try the caramelised onion bread.

MUST try if you are coming from the Costwolds way, excellent pastries/curries/buns in a delightful store in an antiche building with a lovely customer service
Fabulous food and drink, I would definitely recommend it, not forgetting the staff of course , very friendly and welcoming xxx
