If I could give zero stars I would. We were renting a property in earlswood. Our land lord was seriously neglectful and after over a year of dealing with black mould and a leak, the ceiling fell through. We had to move out in mid October because it was uninhabitable and the black mould was airborne. They have now sent us a bill for £300 and told us it’s due in 8 days even though we are paying for another property. Apparently as the landlord said we didn’t officially end tenancy until December we still have to pay. Very rude people on the phone, they showed no compassion and did not help at all. I ended the phone call very tearful being told I still owe £300.
Terrible council, money hungry, negligent and do very little to maintain the borough.nnI’ve received a recoveries letter with additional charges despite speaking with the council and being told I’ve made all payments.nnOne department clearly isn’t speaking to another and they're only interested in applying more fees.nnI’ve lived all across the UK and this is the worst state I’ve seen a council in, last week I received another letter but this one was meant for my neighbour. This shows 2 things, one, that they’re doing this to all residents in some money grabbing power play & 2 that they can’t manage their own paperwork and letters.
Lost our personal data in a data breach and put our prices up to fund their mistakes. Haven't had a mixed recycling collection in three weeks and show up on random days making their online 'missed a collection' form useless
Handing out private hire licenses like sweets. You don’t even have to attend to obtain taxi license it’s on line. What a farce. The amount of drivers I see with your taxi license on back hanging around other areas waiting for work a causing a nuisance.
Left temporarily traffic on a completed set of roadworks. How stupid. Too many parking restrictions. Just want to line there pockets with more cash they can spend on more useless junk
