My black paper and card bin has no lid and I can find no help on the website. Also I cannot find any help on very large cardboard boxes too big to cut up. I put the flattened large boxes and 10 cardboard wine carriers in a clear plastic bag out for collection and they were all collected so all good. Luckily it didn't rain.
Male staff member on the morning of 22nd May phoned council tax number was extremely rude. He didn’t even listen and hung up the phone. I had to call twice to explain the situation but it seems he couldn’t wait to get off the phone.nI also sent in an online query two weeks ago but no reply. The line is also open only until midday so it’s hard enough to contact them as it is!
Terrible council. Impossible to get hold of and even when you do they chose to not respond.nnAn individual known as Paul Butcher working for them seems to be a one man band choosing who to reply to and when. It took him 4 years to respond to an email.nnIf you’re reading this post and thinking about moving into the borough, I would advise against it as I’ve never had such bad service from the council as I do now. The council tax is also extremely high.
Even one star in too good for the council and its complete and utter farce, waste space, time and money planning department, planning complience, environmental department and building control section. All the are quick to do is keep passing the buck saying that nothing is their job. I have had so much trouble with the neighbour and his building crews over the past 6 months and still you do nothing. The council is meant to be there to serve the public HA what a joke, they would not know how to.
Reigate town centre- this text is aimed at Reigate council. The nice and classic town centre is totally spoiled by and made dangerous by the speedy traffic through the High Street. This is made worse by the one way system around the town centre. Make the High Street pedestrian only.
