Im a landlord of 18 years and was a tenant of 8 and mortgage adviser of 10. I would not use RR,   as they dont offer good customer service once they have your money or when you have a legal right to have it back.  Obstructive and slow,  dont be suprised if they pay any refund as a postal order.

Andy and the team exceeded all expectations. Staff communication was excellent. I couldn’t fault the service. In fact it was that good, I used the branch again for the sale of another family house within 4-weeks of selling my own property. To sell my house and the second property on a second viewing on both occasions, demonstrates tenacity and professionalism to get results. I would have no hesitation in recommending Reeds Rains Rawtenstall to sell or buy a property. Fantastic service!

Excellent service from Reeds Rains Rawtenstall.  Professional, friendly and kept me updated every step of the process.  Not once did I need to chased them to find out where I was up to which took a lot of the stress out of finding my new home.  Would highly recommend them. Brilliant service from everyone at Reeds Rains, from the valuation, to the photographs right through to the sale, sold our house in 6 weeks!!!  Also being really helpful when trying to find something to buy, giving brilliant advice!!! Couldn't recommend them highly enough!!!

I used the Rawtenstall branch to rent out my house after I moved overseas.  The staff were always friendly and helpful.  My house was well looked after whilst rented.  After I decided not to return to the UK, the Rawtenstall branch did an excellent job selling the house for me.

I have sold houses before, so I'm aware of the process.  I only used this local Reeds Rains Franchise as I know someone who works there, and in fairness I was given a preferential selling % rate. The owner of the franchise was quick to come out to the property, take payment, photograph the images, complete the online tour and arrange for our EPC. This is where the positive comments end.  With regret, we elected to go for their premier package, which cost us over £300 and I'm led to believe gives you a better chance of selling your house. I've subsequently learned that a friend of mine didn't pay it, so that's reassuring to know.  After 4 weeks and after a couple of calls, we received a report showing the web hits and the amount of times the property appeared in the property search results etc. Nearly 4 months down the line, we called a guy in their office and asked him about house prices in the area, what they thought we needed to do to sell the house and overall the response was extremely poor. Low and behold we served termination notice this week as we're changing agents, and we receive another web report.  Based on our experience, I wouldn't recommend selling your house with this Reeds Rains franchise.

I use this EA regularly to help me find decent tennants. Without them I couldn't manage my Lettings Portfolio. They vet prospective tennants and present me with a list of suitable candidates then they do all the required checks and collate relevant references for me. I can't tell you how valuable this service is to a busy landlord.

We sold our house a year ago now nearly. I can't remember the chaps name now buy he came to give us a valuation and said 87950. Less than a year earlier we bought the house for 100000. If I would have trusted his word we would have been 12000 in negative equity. Instead we had another valuation at 125000. They day it went on the market we had cash offer of 120000. Seems a very dated and behind the times business. Although buying a house from them could be a good idea if they are under valuing houses
