Lovely venue, was here for a birthday celebration. Nice staff, the classic DJ where you get the old bangers. Plus had the football on I'm the background so all in all good evening. Worth checking out.

We had our wedding reception here and the staff and venue was amazing. The staff was great to the run up to the big day. We met with Lousia to talk through our ideas and plans for the day and she was so helpful and suggested other ideas to us which we hadn't even given it a thought, so this was very helpful. We also met with Simon and talked through our menus and again he two was very helpful and happy to suggest what would compliment each selection we made. The bar staff on the night were amazing and a real credit to the venue. They were happy, helpful and bent over backwards to make sure all our needs were met throughout the whole day. The room looked amazing, they set the room up exactly as I had imagined it to be. All the staff are professional and will do their up most to make your wedding day (or any other event) a special one.

There are no fairways on this golf course, it’s just temporary tee box’s and the greens, par 3s are about the only holes that are playable. The stroke index on some of the holes are suspect along with only 1 par 5 which is shorter than a par 4 a few holes before it. On occasion you will be teeing off next to a green so will have to avoid people putting or avoid the balls from their approach shots. On top of this you will be outnumbered by about 4:1 from dog walkers who will happily amble across “fairways” disregarding the golfers. I cannot comment on this course in the summer but I would recommend avoiding in the wet/winter unless you want to practice playing out of the rough for the summer months.

Good food , generous & good choice, atmosphere a little lacking but it's a sports bar setup rather than a restaurant..... prices a little high but overall ok
