The Redbridge Museum has recently been refurbished and renovated, making it fresh and inviting, educational and interesting to visitors of all ages.nA great place for all the family. Everything is well signposted and the information supplied on all the exhibits and displays are interesting and informative. So much to see and learn about Ilford and the Redbridge Borough.
Passed by and found the museum inside the library building. Very interesting and full of information about Redbridge. Worth visiting.nThere’s also a cafe in the ground floor of the library. The environment was cosy with friendly staff and the food was yummy, too.
I visited Redbridge Central Library today and was thoroughly impressed. The library is amazing—spacious, clean, and well-maintained. There is an extensive collection of books, and plenty of seating areas for studying or reading, which creates a perfect environment for learning or leisure.nnHowever, despite how wonderful the library itself is, I have to deduct a star due to my experience at the coffee shop inside. Unfortunately, the lady working there was incredibly rude and lacked basic customer service skills. It really detracted from the otherwise great experience.nnOverall, the library is fantastic, but be cautious when visiting the coffee shop. I would have given 5 stars if not for the poor service at the café. Hence, I'm giving it 4 stars.
Our three year old loves this place, could spend the whole day. Lots of interactive exhibits in the museum and plenty of things to play on in the children section. As good as any children’s museum or play centre, with the added bonus it’s relatively quiet and free!
Very dangerous library. This library needs to replace its security guards, it is not a safe space to study it is very dangerous. The kids on 2nd floor SILENT STUDY FLOOR are very noisy, the security guards do nothing about this, they see the kids whispering and making noise and do nothing, then when other people studying talk to the kids tell them to please be quiet, the kids become aggressive and violent. very dangerous as security guards simply do not care and the kids on the 2nd floor making noise will injure you if you tell them to stop making noise. it is SILENT STUDY, the security guards seem so unaware of how to do their jobs and keep it silent study, I will also be reporting this to the councillors and the MP here in Redbridge, this library is very poorly managed.
