We went to Red Lion Motors to look at a Fiat 500nThe car was presented beautifully clean, everything had been mechanically done and it was ready to drive away the same day.nThe transaction was smooth and Denis put us at ease. Whilst there we also spotted another car a Mercedes which my son liked.nWe drove back up a few days later to test drive and unfortunately there was a small fault on the vehicle. Denis was so apologetic and assured us he would sort it.nFast forward 2 days the car had been repaired and Denis drove the Mercedes to us which was a 4 hr round trip early evening to ensure the fault was fixed and put his mind at rest.nWhat a fabulous servicenThere are not many people you can trust these days especially in the used car market but hand on heart Denis is a 100% honest, genuine nice guy. He will go out of his way to make sure everything is 100% spot on and you are happynWe will definitely be seeing Denis againnHopefully for a 3rd car!
My experience with Red lion motors could not be faulted. From initial contact to sale and after care. Nothing was too much trouble for Denis and he kept in contact throughout the whole process. Vehicle was as described and presented. Never felt pressured and happy with my purchase. I would recommend, not your usual arogant, pushy car salesperson just after the commission. Buy with confidence.
Yesterday I phoned RedLion Motors and arranged to go and see a VW Scirocco today.. I spoke to them on the phone and arranged a viewing/test drive today. I told the guy I was coming from Horsham 1.5hours away that I would be there 10 - 10-15 am - he said don't worry there would be someone there all day. I turned up at 10-15 dead on time - spent 10/15 mins looking at the car and decided I liked it and wanted a test drive.nI looked about to try and find someone to talk to about the car... there was a mechanic... he said the owner want on site and proceeded to get him on the phone and passed it to me - i spoke to him and he said he had forgotten about the viewing and would be there in 40 minutes.nTotal disgrace, I drive 1-5 hours and expect to be met as arranged on the phone. Completely untrustworthy. I was willing to pay £13k for this car but they have lost a sale due to completely incompetence and a total lack of customer service.nI noticed a guy called Tom said a similar thing and you denied all knowledge of him and I gave you the benefit of the doubt but after my own experience I'm inclined to think Tom was telling the truth.nn- RobnnYOU HAVE JUST REPLIED WITH THIS: Hi Rob, thanks for your review. Your appointment was for 10:15am you showed up at 10:50 we told you that have other meetings and must wait in order to be seen.nNot sure why you're not telling the correct story.nBut next time you book an appointment be on time.nWe have take our business very seriously and if you can't be on time will need to wait.nnI got there dead on 10-15 looked at the car for 10/15mins and no-one was around - i found your 'mechanic' who phoned you and you said you would be there in 40 mins That's the truth of the matter. Ive driven 3 hours today for nothing. Please don't say i got there at 10-50 when i got there at 10-15 on the dot. Be honest in future.
Amazing service from start to finish. I was dealing with Denis he was very helpful the the moment I visisted without an appointment. And a few days later I picked up my new car 5 star* service definitely recommend.nnThanks again
