Visited on 23/02/23 for lunch. Chose to eat inside but nice decking area if the weather's decent. Limited menu but well presented. Some items seem a little pricey especially given the limited choice. Good service and a little like Nandos as you order at the bar and its then brought to your table. Nice option of tea or coffee and cake for £4.95
Most of the food was nice. However I would definitely recommend they work on their White Bait.. Below are two pictures, one is of what Breaded White Bait SHOULD look like, and the other picture is what we were actually served.
Lovely pub by the seafront with great food and good selection of beer on tap. Reasonably priced given the location and food also has good options for vegans and vegetarians. The steak and tanglefoot ale pie was delicious, especially since staff were more than happy to swap the mash with chips as pie should be served with. The calamari and white bait starters both taste great. The highlight was the chocolate and orange torte. I cannot believe this is vegan it tastes so delicious, especially with the honeycomb, ice cream and molasses its served with. Staff were all very friendly and chatty while the pub was quieter. Highly recommended if you feel too much of the sun while relaxing on the beach
Iconic pub and eaterie in a prime location. Stopped in for a drink after a bit of sea swimming and paddle boarding. Kids loved the interior, there were a good selection of drinks on offer at reasonable ish prices for the location.
The service was great, the staff friendly and polite, and I don't talk about the food anymore, with a grade of 10+. Super quality and price, I highly recommend this restaurant
Clearly most popular pub and stop off point in heart of Woolacombe facing seafront. Beautiful beach setting but pub choice not great unless you walk up to lovely Mortehoe Still, it was packed within 15mins of opening at 12 midweek! Great location with nice display of surfboards in rafters...see pics
Lovely venue with a view of the beach. Very busy but good selection of beers, ales etc. Sunday lunch was decent with good portion sizes. Will be back :
Brilliant 2 roast beef dinners And we ordered a cauliflower cheese as an extra absolutely fantastic food and what a great atmosphere 2 fruit ciders too
Great sea views,dog friendly also.lovely to just sit outside and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.staff friendly.great location.be mad not too try it.
This was a great pub with very good food and amazing service . I highly recommend it
