Wonderful tea rooms in Morwenstow. They serve fantastic cream teas, sandwiches, cakes and much more. Friendly staff in a wonderfully quiet location. What's not to like?Food: 5/5
If you are looking for a quintessentially English tea room. look no further. The Rectory Farm Tea Rooms is the best you will find. The squeaky front door, quirky mismatched china and their eclectic collection of china teapots is all part of the charm. First rate local produce beautifully prepared and served with pride and a smile. You won’t find a better Cornish pasty or clotted cream tea anywhere. Teapots are happily refilled for free - of course they are! We have been coming here for years and it has never failed to delight - long may their success continue. Reserve a table in advance if you can - this little gem is justifiably popular. Dogs are not allowed inside, which leaves plenty of room for paying guests to enjoy the ambience of the place. Dogs are made very welcome outside. LovetoWander
What an absolute gem! Will definitely be coming back. This 13th Century tea room has so much character, wonderful staff and an amazing menu. Very close to the Cornwall Coastal Path so perfect place to stop off. Vegetarian options: They have options for everyone gluten, wheat, dairy, vegan and vegetarian, they are even recommended by coeliac U.K.
Great place near the church. Lovely garden to sit in. Nice staff. Service could have been a bit quicker but they were quite busy. Excellent quiche and ploughman's. Local produce.
After a lovely coastal walk we popped in for a cappucino and a tea. We also enjoyed a piece of cinnamon/apple cake and a pie of fruit cake.Food: 5/5
A delightful tea room serving the most delicious cream teas ever....scones were fresh out of the oven served with homemade jam and clotted cream. This tearoom was a gem if a find after a long day out walking on the SW coastal path with seating inside and a quaint little garden. The service was extremely efficient and friendly.
An absolutely beautiful vintage tea room serving the best cream tea we have ever had!! The staff are extremely friendly and their service is amazing. Fabulous location surround by lovely walks. What a gem of a place to find, We will definite be back .Food: 5/5
Please update the prices on the website June 2024! If our group had seen that all prices up by at least £1 we wouldn't of bothered travelling to you. And update Bude tourist information centre, who are quotting old prices in website Appreciate some people think £10.95 for a cream tea is cheap, but at least by having prices up to date people can make informed decision. Also, when we ordered cappuccino, and asked for it with skimmed milk, staff member said it was made in machine and didn't know what milk used... You advertise as food intolerance friendly, it's important staff know!
Spotting the numerous awards online we stopped by and enjoyed some great sandwiches, cream tea and drinks. It has a lovely garden which would be great to sit in if it wasn't raining. The food and drink all came out in a timely manner and the staff were really friendly and helpful. You're not able to take dogs inside, but the garden has plenty of space. Pricing was good and everything was freshly made including the warm scones for the cream tea. Worth a visit!
Such a beautiful spot with caring staff ! Food is amazing, we went here everyday on a recent trip to the area. I think they may need a few more staff as service can sometimes be a bit slow, but appreciate that it can be difficult to find staff. Loved the place, will definitely recommend to others.Food: 5/5
