We were in Cornwall and had to get a cream tea. It's the law. Looking for somewhere local to our caravan we stumbled upon this place. The photos we could find made it appear that it was a static caravan in a field. We were not holding out much hope, but gave it a chance. We are glad we did! It is a static caravan in a field, but the field has lots of benches and a lovely stream running through. There is little shade but we visited in an overcast day. Obviously took advantage of the cream teas. Servings were generous to say the least. Will make the trip if we're in the area again!

Wonderful location with a fantastic lady to take your orders and chat with. A local treasure with a heart of gold, Margaret runs her tea garden to the delight of locals and holidaymakers alike! You won't regret stopping by!

So quaint and sweet! My arteries started furrin up at the sight of the clotted cream on my scone, it was delicious! (Other cakes and hot snacks also available) And you *can* drive right to it, whatever Google maps says.

A great experience,  huge cream teas from Margaret who has been there for 50+ years.  A lovely setting with plenty of space for the kids to play.
