Comfort in tasty tunes and Quarter Horse coffee I was happily surprised. On following my instincts, I saw the sign for coffee, walked into Record Culture and smiled. Behind the counter was the familiar sight of the La Marzocco Linea Mini espresso machine. The owner had chosen well. He has also chosen a lovely Quarter Horse coffee blend. What a lovely environment to appreciate music.
So glad to have this little Gem on my doorstep. Great collection of new and secondhand Vinyl. All the staff are super friendly, prices are always a few quid cheaper than online and supporting a local, independent shop always feels better. Lee will always do his best to get what you want in if they don't already have it in stock. 10/10
A superb shop and honestly my favourite record shop experience out of any. Great layout, great range of music and the mixture of nice music related books is particularly nice too. Always really nice to see the flyers etc for local gigs or other related local businesses, that's really good for the community. We're really lucky to have this place in our town. The coffee always smells/looks superb too! Really pleased with the records I've bought here
Love this record store. Every town needs a good one and Stourbridge is lucky to have Record Culture. Knowledgeable, friendly, also sell Quarter Horse coffee. Stone cold classic.
I was unaware of Record Culture but stumbled across them accidentally while looking for a particular release. I have placed a couple of orders with them and will now always check their site first as the service and packaging is the best I have received. Their social media accounts are also the most engaging I have come across - open and honest discussion about the industry and what colour vinyl should be. Thanks again!
Great to be able to buy new releases on virtually my doorstep instead of HMV i e merry hill. Very much hope Record Culture has a long life in Stourbridge. Much recommended.
Always an amazing service. Friendly, warm, welcoming and always helpful; making recommendations to suit your tastes. Which brings me to the next point: these guys really pay attention to their customers, giving them a personal touch you rarely get online or in person! Having moved a 175 miles away from their awesome record shack, these are still the go to guys when it comes to new releases for alternative and independent music!
I went in today to Record Culture and was firstly pleasantly surprised to see a real record store in Stourbridge. It's beautifully kitted out and will be even more great as the seconds boxes begin to fill up. I buy music that isn't primarily in stock at Record Culture but I was pleased to find a few record for my taste in the well stocked shelves. I was directed via the veg man at the market as I think Google maps is wrong or is now wrong, it's no biggie. Will pop in over the next few months and can see this being a regular drop in. Oh, also, it was nice to see a store selling Arthur Russell 12's in the Midlands. A true rarity !
A good selection of second hand vinyl competitive prices.
I buy 90% of my records here now. Amazing service, happy to search for anything you ask about and always looking to help out in any way they can. Rapid deliveries. I've never been to Stourbridge but this place feels like my local just from the service they give online.
