I've had the pleasure to be one of Ray's customers for many years, even in a previous location.  A great chippy, good selection, very conscientious, happy staff unlike others in the area and tasty value for money food.  Portions are big and you won't regret going.

I went down to the butchers so got small portion of chips, you get a lot and i was amazed how really lovely they are. thick cut, not greasy, salt and vinegar was just right, service spot on. best chips i had in a while, go again this week

Great place to get your takeaway as this is my first visit the chicken and chips were cooked properly and tasted great. I also had their curry sauce which was great tasting. If you're looking for some reason to get chips and something pop down and give them a try

Best chippy in Shrewsbury.  Love all the staff and a great service.  I always ring first and they have it ready!  Kev

5 stars are not enough. Perfect fish and chips. Portions are large and the food is so good you might have to queue.

I was going to go to the fish bar at the column     Instead I chanced on Shrewsbury fish bar   Equally as EXCELLENT   Clean fish was plentiful tastfull     Will be returning
