Disappointed to see the low average rating on this place. I only live within a few minutes walk so always collect and can honestly say I've not had one bad meal in probably about 10+ over the last few years. I assume some of the complaints must just relate to delivery issues because I always find the food fresh and quickly prepared of high consistency from one visit to another and with only a minor complaint that sometimes the lamb/tikkas can be a little overcooked/tough otherwise usually very satisfied with quality and value/price.
My favourite Indian takeaway. Reasonably priced and we always enjoy our curries. My favourite curry is the sagwalla not very spicy but packed full of flavour.
Easy to order and really quick to collect. Food was delicious!
Rubbish Ordered garlic lamb and there was more garlic than lamb! Chewy as anything and lukewarm to boot. I hope the rumours that this place is getting turned into flats are true, because at least then it will be useful for something! Plus only dossers will eat this rubbish!
Ordered a takeaway online via the internet. Called one and half hours later to be told that they had not received the order from just eat and they would find out why. Called again two hours later and was told that I was a liar and that they knew people like me. I order from this place regularly and to be spoken to by whoever answered my call in such a disrespectful insulting way is totally unacceptable. AVOID THIS DREADFUL PLACE
Really like the food at this takeaway. Prices are very competitive, quality is good and staff are always friendly
Don’t even bother because it will never get to you. Phoned to ask for an update just to get told in no uncertain terms that I was a liar and a 25 pound order was never placed for my address. From what I’ve heard around town I’m not the first either. Stay away from these robbers, go elsewhere.
The service is friendly enough and the portions are good. But that does not make up for the fact that it's NOT great Indian food in my opinion. Greenfields spice which is around the corner is way way better. AND if you really want awesome drive to Gobowen . and finally if you know your Indian foods then number 1 is found in Wolverhampton on the Dudley rs called Lakshmi . It is Sikh Punjabi cuisine so is slightly different from most Indian takeaways which are Bangladeshi but it's worth every penny to visit.
Great food took about an hour and a half to come but the good food made up for it ordered a vegetable vindaloo and vegetable madras and chilli nann and chips would definitely order from here again would recommend this place
Order from here about once a month sometimes more, tonight’s meal was poor. Tandoori starter was like rubber, naan bread was dry and tasteless, chips were cold and hard and I ordered a Lamb Tikka Pathia only to find 2 bits of Lamb Tikka in it and the rest was chicken!! Won’t be ordered again for a while.
