We stopped for a meal here on the way to Barmouth.We sat in the lovely garden with the children. Their meals were £1.99 each and they had large portions which was excellent. Our meals too were excellent and very good value. I had the cottage pie which was homemade and very filling. by itself but was served with a load of chunky chips and peas! Can thoroughly recommend

I went there with my wife and her parents for a lunch-time meal on May Bank Holiday 2013. The staff were welcoming and although they were very busy the service was excellent, our meals were very good, and good value. All the other customers around us also seemed to be enjoying their meals. If I am in the area I will go there again.

We've been here twice. Both times the food was lovely. I had the monster burger mentioned on another review. On our first visit the barman seemed more interested in serving his friends. Can't fault anything else

just a quick note to say that we ate here on friday evening and the food was fantastic, biggest tastiest burger I have ever eaten, even the chips were brill!! Thanks chef! (and apologies for my very naughty children). I wish we lived closer I would loved to have tried more from the menu. Only draw back was the entrance was a bit crummy looking, taking us past the mens urinals, and the decor was a bit dated and tired looking.
