Wow, what an amazing time. The food was fabulous especially the lamb shank. Excellent service with a lovely host who could not do enough for us, including finding an amazing coconut rice pudding from the other festive menu. I would definitely do this again for Christmas day.Food: 5/5
Great staff, very friendly! Food and presentation was lovely, service was great. We were well looked after by the Rasoi team! Cosy vibes, a must visit joint if you get a craving for curry.
Fabulous restaurant a few meters away from Cirencester centre. The food is absolutely fantastic, one of the best Indian food I had in England. The staff are extremely friendly and eager to help/serve. A real little gem
Extremely overpriced, paid 5 pounds for 1 samosa starter probably frozen ones from Lidl, and food was horrendous! This is 100% Bangladeshi food disguised as Indian food, not authentic at all. Food is absolutely not worth the price, they are literally robbing you!Food: 1/5
What a fantastic find! Amid the whiteness of Cirencester, this place is a bastian of Indian deliciousness. We ordered several plates off menu, we asked for things to be made vegan, we could not have hoped for a better dinner experience. The staff are all incredibly kind and so nice and accommodating. We were left speechless by the service. The waiting staff are all such cute angels! Highly recommend finishing off your meal with a coffee - it comes with a bunch of free cream and sugar, delicious! The spinach saag bhaji was the star of our night, could not recommend enough xoxo
We visited to this con artists lair on Christmas day where they had a set menu containing lamb and turkey which we don't eat. We then decided to leave as there wasn't much we could eat of the set menu but the waiter said that he'll make something special us. We were pleased by this. He said he'll make us a chicken biryani and a chicken tika masala and some naan just for us. At this time we said Do you have any veg dishes and they said no and we said OK that's fine we'll just have the biryani, curry and naan. Then when she brought the food she also brought a "mix platter" that we never ordered. This was revolting. It had a miny veg samosa that was clearly from a packet that they chucked in the oven and some raw uncooked chicken. We ate the samosa but not the chicken as we didn't know if it was even safe to eat. Then came the revolting chicken tika masala which we didn't eat. We only ate the naan and the pickle. We didn't touch the biryani and parcelled it. We ate a bit of the biryani at home which gave us a horrible stomach ache. Then she came with a veg dish that we just asked if they had but never ordered. The bill came to £60 for biryani, curry and naan. They charged us £15 for the "mix plater" and 15 for the veg curry. We said we never asked for these two items but they made us pay anyway. I understand that the waiter allegedly made the biryani and curry from scratch, but they purposely gave us the veg curry and mix platter to up the bill. Thieves
The service was fantastic and the food was absolutely sensational! Definitely our favourite Indian restaurant in this area of the world.
Great food great staff. Always quiet in there for some reason, but the food and people are great.Food: 5/5
Nice looking place, pleasant staff and appetising menu. We had two mains and two starters. The fish starter was two pieces of fish but the mixed tandoori was OK. Both were tasty. The lamb mains were very tough not good meat in very watery sauces. The dish taste was OK, but a strong liver overtone to the meat. Overall, far from what I would describe as an average quality takeaway and if I had eaten in I would have felt justified in raising issues there and then. Something I very rarely do.
Warm and cosy with small rooms, the food was excellent, plenty of flavour and spicy and very attractively presented. Friendly and efficient staff.
