A Vegetarian Delight! The ambiance is warm and welcoming. The staff are friendly and attentive, always ready to recommend their best dishes or accommodate any dietary needs. For dessert, the Gulab Jamun was a delightful treat. If you're looking for a place to enjoy wholesome, flavorful vegetarian food, Ranjit's Kitchen is definitely worth a visit. If you are looking for home cooked Punjabi food then this is the best place for it. I have been to a lot of Indian restaurants all over the UK but this one was special as when we had food here we felt like home. Food was delicious and freshly prepared. I also loved the tea here and the staff is also very friendly. I would say that this is a true authentic Indian food restaurant and we would love to visit again.
We are travelling from London and we’re looking for authentic Indian food, we found Ranjits kitchen and thought to give it a try as it says on their website this Panjabi northern part of Indian cuisine is not tempered as per western taste or watered down, as an Indian and have eaten at my Panjabi best friends home in India, I can confirm this restaurant provides real home made Panjabi taste. We felt at home. Would recommend 100000000000000000000% and definitely come back again if we are in Glasgow. We were four people and we ordered a thali, aloo paratha, makki roti and a saag, paneer pakora, Panjabi ginger cha and hot gulab jamun for dessert. Portion size was perfect. We’re so full at the end. Only one thing we didn’t like was their tea
Wonderful place. A treat for vegetarians like us - who have not many other options in Glasgow. Very homely atmosphere and tasty food - authentic Indian taste. I hope this spurs many more Pure Vegetarian Restaurants in the UK, and promotes tasty vegetarian Indian food among all.Food: 5/5
I have been to 100+ indian restaurants across the British isles and this has to be the most endearing food experience for me. The food gas never ever tasted so homely anywhere else as here. There is a reason men are mostly chefs because they can cook seller food for restaurants but can't cook food which gives the patrons a feeling of nostalgia of healthy and homely food. The women chefs at this restaurant are so blessed with their skills to cook a homely experience for diners God bless them all and good luck to the restaurant for many years to come.
I bought the shakr parey they were too dry and tasteless. Do not recommendFood: 1/5
This quaint little shop is nothing short of spectacular. It honestly is just equivalent to the most authentic home cooked food by your favourite auntie. You can't go wrong with anything you choose so I would just outright recommend everything on the menu. It's a very small restaurant though so you may be waiting if you go at busy times.
Very tasty food. Just be aware that the chickpea dish is moderately spicy which isn't advertised on the menu. The service was a little slow but the food was well worth the wait. All good was vegan/ vegetarian.Food: 5/5
We came across this place by accident, as we were driving past. We parked in the next street and walked up not knowing what to expect. Staff are friendly and know about the food being served quite well. The place is 100% vegetarian with vegan options available as well. Food was as advertised, tasty and home like. We were there with our two kids and all of us enjoyed a variety of food items. I had the Thali and enjoyed the Saag, although it was made from Palak and not Saag, it tasted wonderful. The Dal was so delicious that we ended up getting a large takeaway with us as well. Also highly recommended are their stuffed parathas. Unfortunately they did you have Gobi or Cauliflower parathas. But we enjoyed the mixed veg parathas and the aloo paratha. We will surely return to this little jem in Glasgow. Vegetarian options: All of them are vegetarian Parking: Street parking on the main street and the side streets.
