We found this place while attending a gig in Southampton. Absolutely WOW. The place looks fantastic, the staff were very friendly, order was taken super quick and food served shortly after. The steaks are superb, the BBQ burger is one of the best I have ever had. Then came the shocker, the price? I had to check as I thought I had been undercharged but no. 2 meals were really less than £35.00 including service charge. Why is this place not rammed?

For us the food was cooked perfectly. However, everything was under seasoned. The chicken was just thrown into the paella with almost no taste in it. The lamb chops were cooked perfectly but can use a bit more salt IMO. The sample meat platter was also cooked perfectly but as you can see it left a lot of empty space on the dish which made it look lacking. Also the service could be a bit more tentative. The best thing we had was the roasted season potatoes. Sweet baby potatoes, and galicy season herbs and roasted just right.
Ordered drinks and they came straightaway! Steak cooked to perfection and generous helpings with the sides also. Seen some negative reviews but our experience was excellent. Staff nice and friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable also. Would definitely come back!Food: 5/5

The place formerly known as Ranchos, steak and ribs. Two diners, had fillet and rib eye steak four sides need to order sides on top as steak is on its own mushrooms/ 2x Chips / rice, peppercorn and mushroom sauce, two beers and a coke. All in came to £93 including a service charge pre added yes annoying Check your bill as we had additional drinks added to the bill which was quickly and without question removed. Food. One steak medium and other medium well, both cooked lovely and although quite salty to taste cooked perfectly. Sides are sides and can’t say anything special. Edit - Food. Reduced to 2 stars as had a horrible stomach without being in detail, very uncomfortable!! Price. I think it’s quite a lot, £93 for a main meal for two people. But I might be a little out of touch! Atmosphere wouldn’t be fair to comment as it was a Sunday evening. Service was reasonable and nothing too much drama.
Rancho gives you quantity over quality in my opinion. My steak was well done but I asked for a medium, the garlic bread tasted of cheese than garlic, the prawns in my dad paella were a bit overcooked but my mums T-Bone tasted good and her mushrooms and coleslaw tasted good. Chips were a bit dry. I’d still give them 4 stars because they have beer on tap and for £90 we had a lot of food so you won’t walk away hungry.
Visited on a Sunday night when they were fairly quiet. This place isn't cheap. Don't come here if you are on a budget although burgers are about average price for a restaurant. My friend had a steak which he asked to have cooked medium well. It was under cooked still unfortunately. I had the rack of ribs which tbf were very good and had a lovely taste to the BBQ sauce. Sides were extra with the stakes which is a little bit mad considering the prices. Overall not bad depending on what you chose to have and your budget. 2 mains with a side and drinks 1 each came to £70 odd which is quite a high price for an evening out. If that's your budget then worth a try.
Pleasant atmosphere although we were the only guests in the restaurant for a little while during the quiet hour!, delicious steaks cooked to blue and medium rare as requested. Squid and crayfish starters were so lovely! This was our first time dining here but I’d definitely recommend. Hope to return again soon to try other items on the menu
