Modern station with transfers with buses and taxis nearby. Lovery footbridge.
The train station refurbishment work is complete not and it looked a lot better when compared with my last visit.
Telford train station bridge is currently undergoing a revamp. Pictures attached. This work is ongoing until late 2018 and will vastly improve the transport links into Telford Town Centre with lifts being installed. I would allow an extra few minutes to cross over the platform due to the work with a temproary bridge in place.
I always use the train station here to travel, never thought to comment but today they really went out there way to help out with my 17 year old daughter who was travelling alone. her trains had been temporarily cancelled, but one woman there in the first/left booth, aided my daughter with every step of the way. I'm so grateful to all the staff for their quick thinking and professional manner, but also taking their time to help a passenger in a personal way
Nice little station but n much shelter finished rain
Good facilities and nice bit of exercise walking over to the other platform. Good transport links with only a short walk to the town centre. Ticket office as well as self service machine means not to long a wait.
Unclear parking information in small writing on boards. I drove in to pick my son up. Disabled parking has to be registered 3 days before who on earth does that ??? No way of knowing unless you've been to the station before. 20 minutes parking bays aren't clear just another company hoping to fine you because you get confused and don't follow their rules !
Classy looking station easy bus interchange and parking.
A fairly soulless train station that is lacking in facilities, dirty toilets and supported by only a small food outlet that has a professional coffee machine that is only used for dispensing hot water for the spoon of granulated coffee dropped into a polystyrene cup. But trains stop there, so if you need to get on a train in Telford it does that job.
Toilets were absolutely filthy, didn't look like they had been checked or cleaned for hours
