I had an amazing experience at loughborough train station last Saturday where the staff really went above and beyond to help me get on with my day. I want to thank Richard for his time and assistance when my phone with my ticket and money on stopped working and for sitting with me while we tried to get it working again. He was a massive help and so caring and considerate, wouldn't have made it to my appointment without his help.
Great station - however it is a shame that the piano is out of tune. Please would you tune the piano so I can play it? It is a really nice old piano and would sound amazing if it were only tuned..
Staff are helpful, nothing bad to say
Easy in and easy out. Reasonably priced, safe car park. 10 min pick up and drop off. Barrier in operation so you will need To scan your ticket on entry and exit.
Plenty of parking and super helpful and kind staff. My first rail trip North of London: everything worked - the gates, the contactless pay for tickets and parking, several super friendly and helpful staff at station window and on platform. Anybody doing Deutsche Bahn in Germany in recent years would be totally blown away by this. Real people who assist travelers with needs, respond friendly, and don't pretend they didn't hear you - Loughborough, please hang on to that! While I didn't try the coffee shop, the station has one and the WC was clean and functioning. I am blown away by the multitude of destinations served from here.
Lovely station with ample parking space's
First time my son used the station on his own today,asked if it was platform 3 to sileby and was told yes it’s the train that’s just pulled in. It took him straight to leicester. Had to wait 50 mins for a train back and the man at leicester was super helpful made sure he got the correct train. Train your staff loughborough what a bad experience my son had with you
Absolutely awesome staff, nothing is too much trouble. Have witnessed staff enabling vulnerable customers to enjoy their travel experience and guiding those with special needs with tact, care and professionalism.Station is always clean and tidy. Having visited many stations across the country this little gem is by far the best!
This station is just so welcoming, all the staff I have come across this morning are so lovely, and friendly. I have to name one member in particular, I think her name is Abbey, she has such a friendly yet professional outstanding approach she should be recognised on a poster, her people skills are absolutely brilliant Thank you so much for taking care of me
Accessible very easily, with cheap tickets. I use this railway station almost every other week and never had any issues.
