Great food here. Artisan breads and home bakes. The pancakes and berries were delicious. Very busy am as there is limited seating and they get a lot of yummy mummies first thing. Feels young and trendy.

Our four year old fell very ill with a nut allergy due to the negligence of the staff in not properly warning patrons of cashews used in the pesto on the children’s menu, which was just scrawled on the blackboard without any allergen warnings whatsoever. She was taken by ambulance to emergency where I write this “review “ now. In this day and age this kind of negligence from both kitchen staff and management is highly irresponsible, there is no excuse for it. Almost every restaurant, pub or fast food joint addresses potential allergens in the food they serve. For a restaurant like Raffertys, who prides themselves on their use of artisanal ingredients and so forth, this amounts to sheer laziness. They really need to sit down and take a good look at their operation and assess itself in regard to their sloppiness in addressing what in this day and age are the basic fundamentals of restaurant management.
