This was our first visit and was pleasantly surprised. The decor is very unique. The service was excellent. The beer selection is good but lastly the food is of a really high standard and tastes just right. Good amount of smoke but not over smoked... would vistis again soon. One place to try but be careful you may get hooked..

Went here last night with my fiancee and its a lovely little place! It's like a tapas version of a BBQ joint so combines the european heritage of the owners with an American style smoke house.

It has a super relaxed vibe and you don't feel like you're being rushed out of your table. You can put your table on a tab as well so you can go up for seconds on the portions. 

Really lovely people that run the place as well! Will definitely be making this a regular!

Pretty average considering average here is 5 star. Absolute gem of a place which came highly recommended and far exceeded expectation. As soon as we walked in we knew we had struck gold. The warm welcome and bespoke delightful interior wrapped us in cotton wool on such a snowy night. Fantastic meats cooked to perfection & full of yummy bbq and smoked tangs. Great choice of drinks and wines in a really comfy environment. I recommend trying the Westerham lager and a platter of the kitchens finest meats served with sweet potatoes and a delicious medley of beans. You will not leave this place feeling anything but accomplished. I'd imagine they will soon have to look for bigger premises. Excellent food, first quenching beer and super friendly staff with a real PASSION for what they love.  Thank you so much.

St John's bun is a favourite of mine 
Salad of the week is a brilliant idea - smoked beetroot salad was delicious. 

Yes the meat is pricy, but the prices charged are almost as *much* as you would be charged in any other smoke house. 

You pay for what you get - the food is delicious and you can tell, 100%, that the meat and the food in general are quality. 

Recommend, even for a try.

The St Johns Burger is the Best burger in Town by far!!! Super friendly staff. Comfortable chilled vibe. Great selection of beers. Tad pricey bit worth it!!!
