I'd give this B&B from hell less stars if I could! We recently stayed here and the place is filthy! We found the remains of noodles in our kettle! We were given another room when we complained but were basically told that you get what you pay for. Shocking customer service... There are no staff on site after 4pm so it's more like a hostel. Just awful.
Room was a bit smaller than expected, bathroom was a bit bigger! Good breakfast. Parking was on the street unless you want to park away from the hotel. Having said that, it was worth the £50 for B&B and we'd probably go again
Toilet wasn't working the whole time of our stay and wasn't repaired even after asking twice. No cleaning of our room one day. The worst: the whole house is super mouldy. A pity since Maryport and its people are very nice.
Amazing and a cosy stay close to lake district. The family room was really comfortable with an ensuite bathroom. Check-in after hours was also very convenient. Lynn the owner is very friendly and helpful. Definitely would recommend this place :
No one in sight to ask for an upgrade or breakfast times. Keys were left outside and no alternative contact details either. Will never recommend it to even an enemy. Heating was broken and turn itself on and off. Toilet was crammed. One contact number, unanswered always. Awful. Thanks to Lidl next door. Had to do groceries to survive in a bread and breakfast property.
Stayed in the twin room with en suite bathroom.. very nice room spacious clean and tea making facilities.. TV and everything you need.. towels soap and plenty room to put your clothong.. staff were excellent and ideal location to visit Maryport and surrounding areas.. food was home cooked and very tasty.. would defiantly come and stay again and recommend..
The room we stayed in was very nice and clean, They had thought of everything, What it could have done with was a couple of sets of cutlry for guests wanting to eat in their room, other than that I would highly recomend it to anyone.
Pricey for what you get. The food was not as described with salad missing most of basic ingredients. Quality of sausage was awful in another meal. Won't be going back Was better when it was Curzon Grill.
Really enjoyed stay room clean and ideal there is a supermarket next door room had an en suite and tea making facilities there is a good wifi connection although struggled at times with the signal on the tv
Very small musty smelling room with carpet innthe toilet! Apart from that the bedding was clean and the staff very nice and welcoming
