I wouldn't suggest anyone to stay here, it has nothing to recommend it, particularly at the prices it charges. It is situated half an hour walk from the nearest civilisation of Maryport, up a busy road on an unprepossessing hill, set back from the main road. The rooms are primitive and depressing, with little in the way of amenities – a decrepit kettle with a small selection of the normal packaged teas and coffees. A tiny TV is suspended from the ceiling. No Internet in the rooms, not even a phone., Even the shower didn't work in a meaningful way. Only basic bedding and that's it. The lady in charge of "the bar" has nothing on tap, just bottles and doesn't know what a Scotch whiskey is. The breakfast is the standard full breakfast. Time has left this establishment behind and it deserves to sink into the oblivion of history.

On arrival got told that there was no bar or restaurant that night as staff was unwell room was OK size needs a good clean though dust everywhere Bath panel hanging off Used teabag in teapot Draws broken No WiFi No hot water Lovely building just needs modernised
