We checked out of this hotel today. Since I have a small child, I accidentally left my original iPhone charger plugged into the socket and also forgot my child’s book in the room. A few hours later, we returned to the hotel to retrieve our belongings, but the staff told us that the room had been cleaned and that no items were found. However, I am absolutely certain that I left my charger there.nnWhat made the situation even worse was that instead of helping me find my original charger, they offered me a random non-original charger—clearly one that another guest had forgotten! This makes me believe that the cleaning staff took my belongings, which is completely unacceptable.nnDuring my journey, my phone battery died, causing significant inconvenience. I expected the person who took it to return it, but that didn’t happen. If you forget anything at this hotel, be aware that you will likely never get it back! The staff is unprofessional and does not seem to care about customer satisfaction. I would definitely not recommend this hotel.
We are currently finishing up a 10 night stay here. Overall we have been pleased with our stay. The staff has been super friendly and I especially want to point out Kristina at the breakfast and Mr David who I believe works the bell hop desk. These 2 went above and beyond what we would expect in terms of your normal hospitality. They both really made our 4 year old enjoy our stay even more. Each morning Kristina would greet our son and hug him. Usually in the afternoons we would see Mr David and our son loved the attention he gave him and the biscuits.nnThe only areas of our stay we were disappointed was the original room we got didn’t have hot water or heat for the room. I will admit the staff worked to get us a new room as fast as we could so we appreciate that. On our second to last night we experienced a lot of noise. The people above were walking with what sounded like heels on all night and the rooms have wood floors. Apparently they didn’t sleep because it was the entire night into the next morning.nnThe last thing I will mention is I think the smoking area in front of the hotel on either side of the door should be moved. Number 1 we had to wheel our child in his buggy through several people smoking to use the disability access ramp. Many times the ramp is blocked by people smoking who don’t move out of the way. We even had one young guy and his girlfriend who were right near the doorway smoking harass us as I waited for my wife pushing my son in his buggy up the ramp. This was New Years Eve. I am not even 100% sure he was a guest of the hotel, he was coming from the restaurant. But we spent several thousand euros to stay for 10 nights and didn’t expect to be harassed at the doorway by young kids smoking. There’s no reason to have the smoking areas by the front door when employees do it on the side of the building or there is a courtyard.nnBut again, overall the hospitality of all staff was very friendly and welcoming and the room was nice. We would be back but hopeful for a few changes.nnThank you especially to Kristina and Mr David!
WOW! Couldn’t have asked for more for a wonderful stay at the Radisson!nOur second stay here so we knew the service was already great!nnWe stayed along with lots of family and friends for our wedding accommodation whilst getting married in Dublin City Hall.nEvery staff member we encountered were accommodating and wonderful from all front of house to the restaurant staff and housekeeping.nnThe rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. The Castle suite was perfection.nTruly wonderful experience and our guests who stayed along with us agreed, it made the events of the weekend even more enjoyable!nnWith special thanks to Dorian Evan & Emily who looked after us from arrival till check out! Dave, who took special care delivering the wedding dress!nAnd the lovely lady who showed us to breakfast each morning didn’t get her name!nThank you so much! We can’t wait to visit again.nnBest wishes
Very nice hotel! Location is perfect, you can potter to and from the temple bar area. Rooms all felt very clean, new and recently refurbished. The bar area was again feeling new and chilled. Upon checking we got a single bed rather than 2 queens which we had booked, but staff soon sorted that out. Breakfast was really nice too! Very much felt like a top end buffet breakfast! Overall I would recommend here both for location and quality.
Dear Radisson team, a short review of what has been a very, very pleasant stay! To start off with is their staff, amazing, all of them. It starts with checking in, they are ever so nice, and this goes on to the people at the breakfast as well as the people standing next to the entrance to give you tips on where to go what to see in Dublin. Great! Their breakfast is delicious, wide variety of choices and really one of the best I have had I travel a lot though europe for work and hotels like these are rare!. If something is not right or you need something else at breakfast, you just have to ask them and they’ll get it for you. Then we had a rough last night due to other people which were in the hotel and were loud..unfortunate but no one can prevent this!. After discussing this with the managers I can say they have handled the situation professional, quickly and ever so smoothly. Thanks again & anyone reading this.. This is your place to stay, the hotel tops out for everything, rooms are nice, breakfast is the bomb and personnel are really good too, we will be back at some stage for sure! Happy 2025, Benjamin
