Went for our team Christmas meal and the quality was amazing. Due to various reasons we had to cancel a few meals but this was easily dealt with by phone. The staff were friendly, attentive and polite and we even had free mince pies for those of us that had room in our bellies. Thank you again and hope you all have lovely Christmas
I booked the Quicksilver very last minute for a party of 21 due to our previous venue cancelling. it turns out it was a blessing in disguise. They were absolutely fabulous, took an pre booking of all meals which were made beautifully and served promptly too. Everyone was delighted with the quality of the meals at such a reasonable price. Service was second to none,staff were very welcoming and the pub felt homely. Thanks again for a brilliant night, we will be back again!
First visit for Sunday Lunch with friends, hence a little worried if I made a wrong choice. But, I hadn't the food was living up to the excellent reviews that had already been written. No linen tablecloths or silver service. At the end of the day, it's the quality of the food that counts, along with friendly staff and reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
Absolutely spot on, its been a long time since we have been out for a meal. And we certainly werent disappointed, service and meal were excellent. And the puddings are to die for.... And all good value for money. We were all suitably stuffed. We will be back. Thanks QsM
We've also had our branch Christmas meal here recently - fantastic, everything was as promised/expected, best food we've had for a christmas meal in years - we will be back! Excellent service as always, we will continue to use for our company events. Great communication, flexibility and food excellent.
Great food, Lovely Cotswold stone type pub. Good prices for food £10 for specials £12.95 for main meals.Generous portions of food.Had Lasagne and chips,Brocolli and stilton soup.Very good Timothy Taylor bitter on draught and Thatchers Gold.Service: 5/5

Booked for a group of 13 and everything was very smooth! No trouble, staff were lovely and accommodating and dietary requirements were catered for as well! Definitely recommend :-
Stayed here for two nights to attend a wedding nearby, the venue did the job with decent pub fare available in the evening I arrived. There are a couple of rooms upstairs and they were perfectly suitable for my stay. A slight shame no breakfast is available, but some recommendations are provided. If you're 6'4 tall you will find the rooms too low as I was very close to the ceiling,
A well run traditional pub! The food is good too. Well worth a visit!
