Quick Fry Chippy

An overdue review for a regular spot. Usually get their pizzas, can’t go wrong with their tandoori delight, definitely recommend. Sometimes I get the chicken and chips and sometimes a burger meal, can’t go wrong with either. Good freshly cooked food, tasty, they do some really chips and most of the time they are coming out fresh. Very good pricing of the menu. Only thing I have an issue with is that when I place a phone order they wont make the food then and there, I come to the shops and they’ll start it when I ask for my order. Shop is really small as well so it gets cramped whilst waiting for your food.

My kids had food poisoning after eating their burger and chicken and chips. They had zero food hygiene by city council couple of years ago.

Food poisoning central. The workers here are inbred. Always moody and extremely hygienic. Your toilet seat has less bacteria and is lot cleaner that this place. Google this place and you'll see how many times they've been closed due to poor hygiene.

Brought food chips where old and diner didn’t even taste nice. The food was cold called them all they can say is bloody sorry

Chicken fillet burger is delicious with a unique flavour. Remaining burgers are nothing special. Standard price £3 for burger meals. Pizza is yummy and people travel hear for the pizza. Pizza prices have gone up since 2022 so bare that in mind. Chicken pieces rubbish, should not be served as they are sometimes too dry or undercooked with red jelly near the bone and too make it worse they lifted the price of these. Donner scraped off early when it's not fully cooked and don't taste great. Chicken donner scraped off may look fresh but is dry and the spices on it seem overloaded and has a bad taste. They often serve cold from the pot that they cut earlier. The prices for these ain't bad £2.50 medium size but the food is for sure bad. Masala fish taste okaish but the naan served with it can be sometimes cold and hard. Price of this not bad £2.50 masala fish and naan. Staff are sometimes rude. On many occasions i felt like.... Apart from the skinny guy with beard all need to learn manners. Service can be improved when bad food is served. They argue with you if you ask for a refund or exchange for food that is cold. Food quality is bad and hygiene rate of kitchen was 1/5 by the Gov website. I recommend avoiding this fast food shop.

Its a small local cuzzy bro chippy, some of reviews are a tad harsh. Be positive, they are nice peoples with a big heart and even bigger chip portions. Ive never had a bad experience and its my local. Not the newest of decor, but they keep it clean. I use it for chips and nan and they have an absolute banging chill sause, the best, and am an avid chill sause lover. You get the biggest £1 pound portions of chips, nice n white, never had brown dirty oil chips from there. They fry burgers and fish etc in separate fryer. One staff member, the short stocky guy looks angry n rude but his actually has medical conditions so dont judge. Inneed initially aswell, rest of staff are lovely. For my needs they are fantastic, call beforhand for nan or roti, can get super busy. Where else can you get a banging scallop for 20p still. Behave

Quick fry chippy is an awesome local take out store! They cater at low prices but the taste and quality is not compromised at all! Their chips are always done well and every time i have ordered remain to be fresh and tasty- well seasoned not too salty You can buy large pizzas 2 for less than a tenner! Overall perfect to feed a large amount of people on a low. However there is no seating arrangement as it isn't a restaurant but this way you can order, collect and enjoy! 10/10 would recommend!
