What a fantastic jewellers! Went to buy our wedding rings and get a new battery for my 2 watches. They couldn't have been any more helpful if they tried, very fair prices and a massive range to choose from. Parking at the rear and very easy to get to . If you are looking for any jewellery, repairs or even a watch battery I can 100% recommend this place.
Great experience picking out wedding rings! Had been to 3 commercial high Street jewellers and was feeling pretty fed up and confused about what rings would be best for us and how much it would cost. No such drama at Queensbury, staff were genuine, kind and super helpful, found me and my partner what we wanted with absolutely no sales pitch or pressure to buy. Bought our rings and very happy - will be back!
Came here to get my engagement ring made and was left very impressed with the whole process. All of the staff members were very kind and welcoming throughout. During the first meeting, I showed showed some photos of the design which were sent off to their manufacturer. The next meeting I was shown drawn designs and we went through the necessary adjustments. It was at this point I viewed different diamonds and selected one for the ring. I was then sent photos of the CAD design before coming in to view the wax model. The last meeting was to finally collect the final engagement ring! A seamless process that only took around 3 months in total and they offer 0% financing options up to 24 months which is an added bonus!! I couldn't recommend this friendly and local business more!
We had an awful experience at the kirkstall branch today. We went given a warm welcome at all and the lady looked down her nose at us. She showed no interest in us whatsoever and it sounds as though we had the same experience as Mrs Reeves on here and the offer they made us was an insult. The gentleman there seemed very friendly to be fair and it’s a shame we didn’t get to deal with him. Won’t be back
Called in on the off chance for a ring resizing, had been advised previously not possible due to the size and pattern . The staff at Queensbury Jewellers were fantastic, explained the process , gave advice , timescale and a very reasonable price. Picked the ring up today2 weeks ahead of schedule absolutely perfect. Could not be any happier. Spoke to the jeweller who explained what he had done and if was happy with the result. I will be recommending to everyone. Thankyou so much everyone at Queensbury
Amazing customer service resized a ring to perfection great value for money
Absolutely brilliant staff...friendly, helpful and a good laugh too!... had a ring resized and they did an awesome job...I can't recommend them enough and will definitely return in the future.
I brought my necklace to the workshop in Kirkstall for a last minute repair before Christmas. Only had to wait a couple of minutes and got it back all fixed and cleaned. Brilliant service - Thank you so much!
This jewellers was recommended by a friend as I was looking for a white gold chain and bracelet to match and hadn’t been able to find anything online or elsewhere. We visited and were told they had nothing in stock but could order something for us from their catalogue. We were shown a figaro necklace and bracelet in white gold diamond cut, which they said they could order for us to see if we paid a 10% deposit, which we did. We were telephoned when these had arrived in store. I did ask if our deposit would be refunded if the jewellery wasn’t suitable. I was told that it couldn’t and I’d have to choose something else in the store!! I was a little concerned about this to say the least. I was obviously expected to buy these items having only seen them in a catalogue. When I went to view these items I wasn’t happy with them as they looked very cheap quality especially for £1600. They actually looked like lucky bag jewellery. I was again told by the Manager, I believe, that I couldn’t have a refund as it had cost him to order the jewellery to come into his store and he wasn’t prepared to order anything else for me! What great customer service! He was quite rude and arrogant and clearly wasn’t aware of ordering/deposit procedures. Training in customer service clearly needed for this establishment. He eventually agreed to refund our deposit and made out as though he was actually doing us a favour, when clearly it’s a customer right to receive a deposit refund for unsuitable items. Would definitely not recommend a visit to this jewellers.
I can’t believe this place has such a high rating. My experience was terrible. Took ages to serve us, - I felt like I was invisible - then when we were attended to the service wasn’t what I’d call friendly. I took three platinum diamond rings wedding/engagement/eternity to be valued/potentially sold to them. Bought for £6,400 in total. They said they’d disregard the diamonds - despite the biggest being 0.8 carat! - so the value offered was £280! I honestly couldn’t believe it. Even Cash Converters - Yes Cash Converters! - Offered £2k for the set!!!!! I ended up selling individually and received a total of £3,870. £280? What an insult. I certainly won’t be going there again.
