You name it, we have it; from fresh South Coast fish and shellfish to hot sausage rolls and baked treats. Hand-pick your favourite seasonal vegetables and keep an eye out for biodynamic eggs and raw juice. There's free-range poultry, organic and rear-breed meat. Have been trying to shop from farmer’s markets more and this is my closest one! Such a great farmer’s market and fresh ingredients! Found Lord Pesto who have lots of fresh pasta available and pesto!
There are great stalls from great farms and other types of vendors! Great choice, but not the cheapest. It's worth visiting, and the products will help you create yummy meals!
Always enjoy a wander around queens park farmers market. A good selection and variety of produce you wouldn't find in a supermarket. Also pick up some cheeky snacks for the food places
Fantastic Farmers Market, excellent choice of fresh produce from very different producers. One can also find some good street food stands here, from bone broth, to oysters & smoked fish, mini brewery beer stand , sausages , cheeses, breads, cakes, rice curry's, Chinese dumplings and a whole stand of cooked French meals. I love the hot smoked salmon stand and also the smoked sturgeon stand. The freshly made pizzas never disappoint. And in-between all of this there is obviously so much wonderful fruit & vegetables to see and buy. All in all one of the best Farmers Markets in London.
Dogs not allowed... It’s an open air market with stalls selling dirty produce from soil. I’ve taken my dog to bakeries, restaurants with 5 star hygiene rating which the market certainly doesn’t have and some grocery stores before. And I took dogs to the real farmer’s markets before. Bizarre that I can’t go to buy potatoes with a dog-but stalls with bread and baked goods surrounded by pigeons are fine. Weird decision considering rather doggy friendly neighbourhood.
One word: fabulous. Fabulous produce, wide variety of stands from organic fruit and veg to meat and fish. Impossible to visit and not to leave overloaded with stuff. Also street food, coffee. Fabulous quality, everything I bought was choice. Fabulous people, friendly and took the time to explain and advise. Fabulous venue, love that it’s in a school yard, the space and organization are perfect. Came on the advice of a friend. We have a farmers market on Saturday in Notting Hill Gate, doesn’t compare. Well worth the visit. I intend to become a regular whenever I’m in London!
Would love to give more, but the rude worker who jumped down my throat and was aggressive telling me to take my dog out ruined my experience and I had to leave. Even though I pointed out to her there are TWO signs in the entrance saying dog friendly, she pointed out that’s only for inside. However the sign does not state that at all. Make your signs clearer, and teach your workers to say ‘excuse me, sorry you can’t bring dogs in here!’ - not to startle guests by screaming to get the dog out and then being combative with guests when they point out the signs that give mixed signals.
Wonderful atmosphere and consistent attendance from vendors. Fresh seasonal fruits and veggies, mostly organic. Butchers and fish mongers as well. A great mix of "others" like a pickle stand and a number of prepared food stalls to supplement. Some stalls are a bit on the pricier side, but you can get some good deals if you choose the right stands. During the warmer months they have a Punch & Judy show and things for kids. Runs right through the winter too which is really helpful especially for locals.
Huge farmers market on Sunday....must be 100 stalls, mainly foodstuff; cheese, meat, poultry, bread and drinks, few flower/plant stalls and street food. Enjoyed the visit and would recommend....
This is a gem, a really good market, surprisingly big and very good food. We found our dosa lady, Mumbai mix, which is amazing and best dosa you’ll ever have. Then had Napoli pizza, one of the best pizzas you can have. It’s a great plan for a Sunday afternoon too if you’re out and about. We will be Colin back here often.
