I found this a very nice place to stay. Overall the building is very impressive, with lots of stunning features. I also found the staff to be very welcoming and friendly. I was greeted with a smile and it genuinely felt like the staff wanted to be helpful and help me enjoy my stay. The room I had could have done with some TLC but overall I liked it here. I suspect some of the nicer would be a real treat. I'm returning today Fri13thFeb with my wife and friends, so looking forwards to it and then updating the review.
I had my birthday party and celebration dinner at the Queens Hotel on Saturday 29th November in the Regency Suite.nWe were a party of 40 and I cannot praise the hotel enough for the support they provided, before and during the event.nThe food was excellent, the room was beautifully arranged and the service was impeccable.nA group of us stayed overnight and had a lovely breakfast together in the morning.nI thoroughly recommend the Queens Hotel as venue for such a celebration!nSpecial mention to Norm who is a diamond :-
Stayed here many times over the years and it never changes. That's a blessing and a curse.nRooms are quirky and use the ancient building well, if a little creaky at times.nStaff are always fun and happy, which cannot be taken for granted in busy hotels.nOk car parking but now £17 per night. Cheaper to pay for on street parking outside if you have an early start. There are a couple of electric chargers available but nearly always busy. Don't rely on them if you need a charge!nGreat location, it's Cheltenham so not exactly a metropolis but you can hardly get more central especially for the festivals.
Stayed here for 1 night as visit to Cheltenham with friends. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is located perfectly for a walk down to high street type shopping plenty of bars and restaurants within easy reach.
I can't recommend this hotel enough. We stayed overnight for the Sunday special. £150 including breakfast and evening meal. The staff were amazing. The food was gorgeous The room was lovely and comfortable. It's very posh like being in a stately house. The car park is on site £15 bargain. Five star any day. Thank you.
