Story

The Queens Head is a traditional village pub dating back to the mid 16th Century. It lays in the centre of the beautiful Churchgate Street surrounded by old buildings, some of which outwardly have not changed for hundreds of years.

Churchgate Street is a tranquil setting, close by yet so far for the bustle of the Harlow that has grown and continues to grow all around.

Since 26th February 2014 the Queens Head has had a new licensee, Aimee Beer ABII. At just 22 years Aimee is possibly the youngest licensee in the County. What she lacks in years she makes up in experience in the licensed and catering trades. Aimee is an associate of the British Institute of Innkeeping

The Queens Head has a full range of wines, beers and spirits. As extensive menu for either lunch or evening is available every day. All dishes will use fresh produce. Our menu will reflect the use of the best ingredients available that day.

Aimee and her staff offer you a warm welcome. Her wish is that you think not "Where shall we go?" but "Let's go to The Queens Head".
