Great fish & chips here!! We have ordered multiple times, this time we ordered for Good Friday. They were a little behind on the orders, which is to be expected based on the volume of orders for Good Friday. I had to hold back the urge by going into the kitchen to help out ; 45 min wait for my order that was placed the day before. The team was very helpful for all of us who were waiting and they did call when the order was ready.
Amazing fish and chips! And to my joyous surprise they serve Newfie fries! I skipped the ground beef. This is the “small” halibut and chips special! Great portion and super tasty. Definitely recommend!!

The food is ok but the fish diminished while frying, the fries were hard stale, after complaining they gave me a lager free fries but not fully cooked they are trying hard to please the customer but l am not sure why did this visit go south Wheelchair accessibility: Parking was available outside the door didn’t have automatic access , seating is disabled accessible
I ordered the fish haddock and chips, with a can of root beer. The total was just about $14 tax incl. The plating of the food left much to be desired, while the ambience and decor of the establishment was quite lackluster. The furniture felt dated and perhaps a tad dirty, and the air smelled of deep fry. The service was very good though, and I was delivered my plate to my table. Regarding the food: the fries were fresh and hot and had no salt or seasoning. This was ok as the focus should be on the fish, but it would benefit the restaurant to add just a bit of salt to the fries. The fish was great! The better wasn't too thick and remained crispy while the flesh was moist and flavorful. The reason I am giving a three rating has to do with the environment and the value. I think the price is a little high for an establishment that appears to cut corners on decor, cleanliness and "frills". However, if they spruced the place up a bit then I'm sure a 5 assessment is well within reach.
The interior doesn't make much sense, but at least it's clean and bright overall. Asked to pay first. Chips are actually not bad. Not seasoned but, not burned or oily. Service is bit distant - forgot to bring my cup of water and I had to take my own plate to my table.... maybe he was practicing social diatancing? maybe because I didn't pay tips? No effort was put into the plating. Tatar sauce came with packets : The breading is a bit loose from the fish, not too crispy; fish is okay.
food was fresh and delicious. i got the halibut with chips and the staff cooked it right in front of me. he was so kind and willing to give me tips in what to get. would recommend this fish and chip place to anyone who wants a good meal!Food: 5/5

Nice little joint. It’s pretty basic. Staff is nice, fast service. My first time here.... needed a place for a quick bite with dad and it worked out. We got the halibut, the haddock and calamari. Food is not bad. Halibuts as a little dry but still good. Wish they made their own tarter sauce. They have a special sauce which seem like a diversion of a shrink sauce. I’d probably go back to give it another go
