Horrific. Chips tasted like oven chips. Not even fluffy inside. Wings were black inside - very low grade. Fish tasted off and too much batter. And I had the pleasure of paying £15 for all this. Avoid. You have been warned. Also, the staff here are not bothered. The two men weren’t talking and didn’t smile once. Only plus is that it was very clean inside, but doesn’t warrant two stars.
I loved the service. The store is clean and the food is fresh and well packed. Its a pleasure to find such quality food in the area. We will definitely be going back and highly recommend gou to tdy their medium cod and chips especiallh the mushy peas! Keep pushing the quality food.
Forget it Dudes, w wnt in this joint, sunday lunch time, £22.50 for cod n chips. very poor quality , small portion of chips, loads of batter on Da Codpiece . sadly Erckan on barking rd was closed, puts Dis place to shame !

DISTURBING Customer Service, COLD CHIPS - when I told him it was cold he very aggressively stuffed his grubby hands into it and said I was lying. He then stuffed it in again and gave all his employees some and told them to say that it’s hot. After some back and forth he snatched the portion and threw it in the cooler section of the fryer, mixed the same portion around and then served the same portion back to me saying it’s fresh. It was SHOCKING to see such unprovoked and inappropriate behaviour. Small portions and RUDE. Has gone down hill since the new owners have taken over, they bought the business and the reviews.
Best avoid I went last week and ordered 3 fish and chips 2 large and 1 medium. when I got home all the fishes were the same size. I think they decide on the spot what they consider to be large medium or small. Having read the other reviews totally agree about the portion sizes.
I found a small piece of hair inside the chips when I was eating. The hair was curl shaped looked like it was part of a beard. I told the 2 guys the behind the tills. The main guy was trying to blame me that it fell from my clothes and didn't give refund or say sorry nor he gave me another portion of chips. Very disappointing. Very Bad customer service. Very disgusting.It should shut down.
Guy at the till with a beard is very rude, abrupt, needs to learn some manners and show consideration to customers with baby and children. Would not go again… Inconsiderate, moody and unprofessional, then again seen as this shop was once always full of customers and now hardly ever anyone their obviously represents there standard!
If you fancy food poisoning this is the place to go. Just run a napkin on the food and smell the oil. Old and refried food. I have been made really ill 1 hour of eating here. Please avoid. Health need to be informed about this. I'm sorry but this really affected me please change your oils.
Lovely friendly and clean fish bar, with tables to sit and eat at if you wish. Eric behind the till was exceptionally friendly and the service was great. The food was delicious - money well spent!
