Fabulous fish and chips. Very tasty, fresh and portions are huge. Haven't actually been inside the shop, but saw great reviews online so decided to give it a try. Ordered two cods and a large portion of chips home. Received the food promptly and it was nice and warm. Will definitely be ordering again :
Service was great and welcoming. Ordered cod and chips. The chips were the only let down as I felt that they were stale. Just very oily and crispy. Parking: Night time is fine but problems during the daytime unfortunately.
My local fish & chip shop, family run, extremely pleasant & hard working people where we’re always served with a smile. Compared to other fish & chip shops in the borough they are priced competitively at just £6 for a whole cod. Never been disappointed with them.
One of the best fish and chips in East London.... Went there with kids and we all loved the cod and chips and services. Definitely would recommend anyone who wants to try British style fish and chips.Food: 5/5
HUGEEEEE portions. I ordered off Just Eat and didnt know the £8.50 fish already came with chips so ordered a regular chips and it was gigantic. My order was easily enough for two people imo. I also I use to go here all the time 10-20 years ago and I have fond memories of this place. I will definitely go here more often again now that I'm more local again.
The staff is very welcoming and the service is great. My personal favourite is the lahmacun or otherwise known as turkish pizza. The only item I would rate them down on is their chips. Its too crispy and oily for me but I will be back for more lahmacun!
I stopped here for a no nonsense coffee and a quiet sit down to gather my thoughts but I was delighted to see the interior of this chippy probably hasn't changed since the 70s. Check the tiles, it's almost a museum! I cant vouch for the food because it's not my sort of thing but the coffee is ok and I was clearly charmed by the decor.
The Fish and Chips here are Fantastic. Always fresh and always hot. There are other places I can go to, to get fish and chips, that is closer to me, but I always come here as the quality of the food and service is excellent. I would highly recommend this place.
