Had the most delicious Sunday Lunch here today. I had roast pork and my partner had the beef and we’ve both been salivating about it ever since! Such a lovely pub, staff are brilliant and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely book in advance as they were fully booked today. We’ll be back soon

We were driving home from Devon on the M5 and used Google Maps to look for somewhere to stop for a roast half way, which was also dog friendly. It’s a lovely quaint but modern pub, with good facilities including pool table and darts in the bar games area. The roast was fantastic which even my kids commented on - high praise indeed! Will certainly remember it for our next trip coming home.
Just what you'd want from a country pub - good draught beers, ciders... a small but tasty restaurant menu. A log burning stove. An outside patio. Friendly and efficient staff. Better to check opening times and book if your intending to eat a meal there.
Fantastic food, great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. Definitely recommend. The pub also has a pool table, dart board, skittle alley and a beautiful beer garden.
Just happened upon this pub whilst in the area. The landlady is lovely and produces great quality home cooked food. Generous portions = good value for money for traditional british food. Yummy mulled wine and cosy log burner. Conversation with the friendly locals made to feel bery welcome. So thank you to all. The decor is comfortable well co-ordinated furniture. Clean pub top marks. Queen Anne on list for return visit.
A genuinely excellent sunday roast. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in the area.
This used to be a great pub, used by many of the local community. The last occupants tried to do something digging but failed badly New tenants are excellent and it looks as if the glory days are comong back. Not tried the food yet but will on next visit. Visited again in Dec 2022. Lovely meal, reasonably priced. Great staff and a warm welcome. This is a great pup. Wish we could take it home to Gloucestershire with us.
